It's not like the bokken I use in the dojo maybe if you re-texture it better would do, plus i prefer it without tsuba and maybe add some new colors depending the material used for crafting it.

Thank you for your mod. Now my character is just like Miyamoto Musashi, travelling all over the country and killing all tough guy's with bokken :-) I don't agree that they are useless. max improved and enchanted they are powerful enough

But why they are so slow? Don't you like to increase weapon speed for them? I also deem, that two-handed version is too heavy. If 2.5 lbs bokken made from 5 lbs firewood, then odachi made from two firewoods should weight ~5 lbs, isn't it?
Increasing weapon speed and decreasing carry weight can make it less "useless gameplay-wise".

I also faced a problem, Icannot improve bokken with tsuba on a grindestone. Is it bag or feature?)

Hi, thanks for your comment. Tempering recipe was indeed missing due to an error on my part. As for weight/speed balance, I never really gave it much thought as I haven't intended to use it for actual combat. Sure, Miyamoto could've dueled with it, but once you have to deal with armour you're in trouble, no?
Anyway, I uploaded a new version with correct tempering recipe and adjusted speed and weight. Hope you'll find it useful and sorry for the delay...

Hey awesome texture! Looks used and real! I use this with Haki from One Piece X http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37355/?

I feel bad ass kicking ass with my latent abilities with this sword! Thanks!

I've got one request/idea. Could you make a bamboo stick? I want one that Vergo uses from One Piece. "Oni Take" or "Demon Bamboo" is his signature thing.

P.S. I'm not sure if you are naming it "Bokken" on purpose or you just don't know but this is commonly called a "Bokutou" in Japan.

Thanks for the compliments! I don't know when I'll have the time to do another mod, but I'll see what can be done (especially if it's not too complicated).

And I didn't know about bokutou; I trained kendo for some time and we just called it bokken!

Did you enchanted this sword itself?

      <<Source: I'm a Japanese>>
All Japanes know: wooden sword called bokutou, all French know: "garçon" means "boy" not "waiter". all Russians know: they didn't call each other "tovarisch", but WHO CARES? :-)

Nice work, it looks almost exactly like my bokken. The only thing I's suggest is changing the handguard color or textures so it looks like iron instead of plastic. That would make the mod a bit more immersive.

As for doing kill moves with the weapon... A tornado can drive a piece of straw through a 4" x 4" house support beam, and anime characters cut through tress with katanas all the time. The rationalization there is the same as with the piece of straw; Force = Mass x Velocity with ki being used to amplify velocity and/or force.

That's my rationalization for decapitating a bandit with a bokken, which I think would be hilarious, lol

Polinezian warriors decapitated enemies with a wooden sword. Why Dovakin can't?)

Two handed version please? Because, you know, the samurai wielded katanas with both hands.
An Ebony Blade retexture should fit nicely.

Unless they were from niten school!

I'll try to make a twohanded version. I'd prefer it that way myself, but I thought that greatsword fighting style wouldn't fit samurai sword. I made it more as an ornament to put on racks and as an adoption gift.

Would be cool though, to have a mod where you can train with your follower using a wooden weapon...

It's spelled "bokken", not "boken". I just want you to know so there's no misspelling in the title.
