The Snow EIf "Mansion" (fcking decide if it is a mansion or a sancturay, these words mean different things) is the worst thing I ever saw in a mod in my Iife. You need to be retarded to make pIayer do the same boring thing for 20 minutes or more and think to yourseIf "that wiII be fun and interactive".
From now on I wiII aIways check mod's author, just to keep aII mods made by you far away from my HDD.

If it took you 20 minutes, you're just bad. That entire building took me half of that.

Might check to see if the author is even active, too. This thing is old as hell, you're posting on a catch-all Nexus page for dead, unsupported mods by authors that don't even mod for Skyrim anymore. Hell, I'm probably going to ditch the mod just because it's old. There's got to be SOMEthing more recent out there.

Mythic's got a point though. It shouldn't take that long to do the mansion, in fact no part of it took me that long. My guess is that you got frustrated and your mind shut down. That is, scientifically, actually a thing. Anger reduces your IQ by about 20, which is pretty damn significant.

Probably the biggest corker I ran into was in that first damn cave with the steep drop.

Bottom line, Skyrim's not a platformer or a puzzle game. Trying to turn it into one turns it into a bad one, but you personally had more trouble than you should. I'm aware you posted this a few months ago, but seriously, next time you get stuck, take a breather, drink a beer, relax a bit, play something else, and try again the next day instead of knee-jerking out a rage post.

      To SithariSadow:
      I agree completely.
This must be the single most idiotic mod I've ever had the misfortune to play.  All I can think about are the several hours or so of precious, valuable, wasted gaming time flitted away on this stupidity.  That snow elf nonsense is the most poorly designed "puzzle" I have ever run across.

The premise is simple:  you open the door; one-tenth of a second later you are grabbed by some force field and held up at the ceiling FOREVER.  You never are released and there's no way to get down.  Your only recourse is to reload a previous save and try it again - with the exact same idiotic results being repeated ad nauseum.  Just exactly how is this supposed to be entertaining, or enlightening, or fun, or anything any other complete waste of time?  This is what many in the community utterly fail to understand.  Yes, these mods are "free", only in a sense.  But you still pay for them through your subscription to Nexus AND the precious gaming time you devote to one mod or another.  And when you come to understand that you have been royally stabbed in the back, you are not going to be happy about losing who knows how many hours of game time to some stupidity.

SithariSadow, I fully intend to take your sage advice, make a note of this mod author, and stay well the hell away from anything made by this person.  I only wish I'd seen your warning before I downloaded this thing.  Just goes to show that all those "glowing" recommendations, even in the thousands, mean absolutely nothing.

And the point of all this?  It is exclusively to warn other users to stay away from this modder - far away, for your own good.

I don't understand the point of you whiners about this mod. I started to play this mod AGAIN and it goes well without any problems.
The mod is a puzzle and adventurous if you decide to be lazy and don't have a brain and time for it then don't download this mod, skip it, and don't embarrass yourself with the useless comments.

This is simply well-made mod for those who likes playing the games and challenges and it is free and at the end it wouldn't have 12k endorsement because it was BAD...lol
      Go buys some logic, peace!

Enai's mods are so fucking good tho. I literally couldnt be playing with out Apocalypse Spells, Andromeda or Ordinator. too fucking good. Odin too. Man Summermyst Enchantments is also made by EnaiSiaion. And so is Wildcat (I have never used this but people like it)

To not use his mods would be doing your self a great diservice.

your shooting a corpse with a broken arrow. you need to remember not everyone makes perfect mods that live to standards you set. sometimes you should just let some of us who enjoy tactical magic just enjoy what we got. i mean some of us figured it out easy. dont get me wrong it was a pain in the ass to deal with the field that kept throwing us around. but in the end when we figured it out we managed to beat the quest, and the magic we get is actually quite useful. so i dont know why you would hate it but its a good mod for those it appeals to.

Guys, guys! Are you kidding me? You're just trolling, right? The Snow Elf Mansion took me literally less than 10 minutes to complete, on the second try. I died at the start once, because I wasn't sure what that shooting purple spells thing on the ceiling even do. Well, it kills. But other than that I had 0 problems. The problem is not the author of this beautiful mod. The problem is you. You're dumb, lazy and arrogant af.

I think my reward for intervening in the war in heaven should be sixty million years of peace followed by an orgy so massive it creates an evil pleasure god that wants to devour the souls of my species...

But hey: what do I know?

Apart from the fact that most of the spells are simple balls with differend variations, and that the only useful ones are either on endgame and force grip.

You would think that with such concepts you would be able to see rays of energy, or even forms reassembling the vampire lord.

But nope, balls and spells that require other spells to work, oh and some only outdoors.

after the last mission the marker gave me and the ouzzle of the statue with laser beams, poof, nothing, on the prospect of having to use any of the tedious spells I had to let this mod go.

    Cool concept tho.

Hello EnaiSiaion I apologize if this is rude, but I wanted to know how you made the spell where you ragdoll people with telekinesis to a specific spot, because I'm trying to make a similar spell and am  lost. Also is it possible to make multiple people get sucked in to a specific spot?  I'm really new to modding basically started today and I only know how to use the creation kit at the moment, but I've been making a bunch of force spells, and the one I really want to make is a blackhole.

    Thank you.

Hey I know this is almost a year old, and I don't actually have any experience modding skyrim, but I know DougDoug used a negative value for PushActorAway to pull people toward himself in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpQP_eobwKA. Skip to 7:24 for the part I'm talking about.

So based on my rough understanding of how games are coded, you could have the spell create an empty object and then use PushActorAway([empty object's ID], -50) to pull people toward it. Then just fiddle with the negative number until the amount of force is right. But again, I'm just speculating here so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I have question about "Contempt for the Weak", what does "pickup 25 umbral orbs" mean exactly?
Drag toward you and take it into your inventory?
Shoot out an umbral orb and drag it 25 times?
Shoot out 25 umbral orbs and drag each of them?
I try so many time but it won't trigger...or is it my alignment not enough? How do I check my alignment?

Great spell mod. I'm stuck on the gain affinity part. I know you need to cast spells to gain affinity but I don't see any of the spells I need to cast in my spell menu. I was given force will but I can't find it anywhere.

the spells in this mod seem to be worse then any of the vanilla spells too many hostiles are resistant to them it keeps saying that they resisted the spells when I use them unless prismic beam is not part of this mod?

the vast majority of spells only work outdoors where the sky is present - examples include abduct and cosmic impact.
