Is it possible for this mod to work with Eating Animations https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/105502

So that I can see my follower eating a variety of foods and drinks? Thank you.

Ensure you don't have any spells equipped as well. Also, hide your hands.

Looks awesome, it always bugs me that I can't feed poor Meeko/Vigilance. Just wondering, would it be feasible to add an option to share food with the orphan children in Hearthfire? I always wish I could give them a sweetroll or a bowl of soup while I'm not able to adopt them yet/if I 'm not planning to do so. I'm guessing it would be too complicated to add the option to a non-follower NPC, but just a thought

Oops, having a bad ADD day, didn't check the video, so it looks like you can already do this with non-followers? Awesome!

Steam users reported they CAN feed adopted children

I was thinking more of when they're still homeless, haven't had a chance to try it yet. Not sure if I've installed it right, there's no sign of the dialogue option with Uthgerd (who's currently my follower), will report back when I have checked if I can give Sofie or Lucia something to eat! Great idea for a mod

      Save and load the game
The follower must be following your OR must be your friend

      > I was thinking more of when they're still homeless
They are not your friends, so they won't accept the food from you

Ah, fair enough, that makes sense! They probably shouldn't be taking food from strange ladies who are armed to the teeth and glowing faintly, anyway... Oh well, I'll have to content myself with selling Sofie cake for 0 gold before I buy her flowers

you could always try a charm spell or setrelationshiprank in console to make them your friend without adopting them... but then again that's not very lore friendly or charitable to be casting spells on them before feeding them.

aha! i know! somebody should make a mod that adds a charisma aura to the player character reflecting their reputation or speechcraft level onto nearby npcs automatically. that way if you look like the friendly type, theyll trust you more even if they dont reallly know you. could also work negatively too... o: people might shoo away infamous players on sight just like in the old days..

I just can't get this to work no matter what. I've been trying for months now. On a "shorter" modlist (+- 100 plugins), I can at least give my followers food directly to their inventory and they will eat it. But that is no big deal for me, since I play with iNeed and follower needs on, and they already do that by these ineed's behavior.

What I see as very practical in this mod, if I actually got it to work, is the ability to feed all my followers at once for the purposes of iNeed. Having to manually hand them food through individual menus is a pain in the neck. If I could drop everything and let them eat it, my life would be so much easier.

Are there any mods that could prevent characters from picking up food from the floor? My follower mod is Follower Live Package (FLP) and I have recently installed Immersive Citizens, although I couldn't get it to work before that.

      Hello.
      Sorry for the long delay.

Try another building/cell with NO default food nearby. There are known issues with taverns, since followers want to eat food but don't want to steal it. Try with another follower.

Please, share what are your steps exactly?

      > Are there any mods that could prevent characters from picking up food from the floor?

      I'm afraid, not.

Does the food have to be dropped by you or will they consume any food that can be picked up without stealing?

I'm not sure if you are taking requests or suggestions, but it would be great if you could do the same with your family. I mean, if you HAD to feed them, every once in a while, otherwise they would die. I believe this would have to be kind of a quest, though.

Your family members are your friends techically, so you can feed them.
You can make a mod request to implement the death penalty via separate mod and it will be compatible with SYM.

Any chance of getting this to work with RND such as a feed your compainons so they don't starve to death ? would work great with Rnd and mixed unit tactics to say build a army and fight a dragon with 20k health LOL

Have no plans for this :/

      PS
All the effects from the food (including modded ones) should be applied to the companion that will eat this food.

    2) Save and load the game to fix the known Bethesda dialogue bug - You know this is not necessary if you patch your mod with TES5Edit, right? Just click on Other - Create SEQ file menu item, and put the generated SEQ file in the Skyrim\Data\SEQ folder.

Will it work if I place the SEQ under the .BSA archive?
