well, I disabled the "step compilation" and now everything looks fine...
why doesn't it help to move this mod infront of the compilation? ... this is rly weird, I head over to the step mod and check if they say anything bout this matter

Looks like they messed up the same vanilla candle texture that RCI did. I didn't touch any textures in this mod so it's definitely them. The best would be if they'd fix their mistake, but as you say contacting them is not so simple, and it's not like the RCI author fixed his broken texture when users reported it to him. The DIY solution is to find that texture and not install it from that mod OR re-install the vanilla texture (or any re-texture that's not messed up) over it. I'm on holiday so I can't help you any further, sorry.
To completely remove this mod (remove it and repair your game) download and install Gamwich's "Rustic Alchemy and Enchanting Tables" (2k) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62328
This mesh replacement mod needs to be fixed to allow complete removal before allowing people to access it - I see a lot of angry people here (many people like myself have spent 2-3 years modding their game only to download something like this .
What are you talking about? This is a simple mesh replacer, which isn't broken in any way, and if you don't know how to uninstall it then you haven't learned much in your 2-3 years. You see a lot of angry people here? The comments you're replying to are a year and a half old, and nobody's angry about not knowing how to uninstall a simple mod.
Two Questions 1) its incompatible with RCI 2.9. Is the same with 2.8? 2)Although 2.8 is not complete, can you recommend a compatible mod similar to RCI? Thank you
I really love all your mods but more recently I started getting black stripes down the back of my candles.

...and all my candles looked perfect until more recently.
I'm guessing it might be Ruins Clutter Improved v2, since it was updated recently. I love them puzzle pillars by raiserfx though.
Hoping they become compatible again...maybe after SSE?
Thanks. This mod only touches the candles on the enchanting table and workbench. There is no "compatible" with mesh replacers, whichever mod installs the meshes last wins.
Thanks for making this. Definitely one of my favorite files, with your other one I have all 3 together and I see this really cool swirling particle effect above the enchanting table. It's awesome.

This mod is also used in the step guide for skyrim. Following this guide, I only got a magenta Arcane enchanter (at darkwater pass for instance but also at the whiterun castle) . Disabling the Workbench.nif resolved this issue for me. I find it strange, disabling the workbench nif makes the Enchanter texture work. Maybe it's just me, but in the event it isn't, somebody might benefit from it.
I also find it strange, I use this in my own game since I made it and it's never given me problems. I see that you also downloaded the Jeclredured II patch, your problem must lie there. You do realize that you must have that mod installed first, for the textures (purple objects means missing textures).

I installed everything with MO and the only mod "conflicting" is "step compilation - standard version 1.2"
placing your mod behind the step compilation doesn't work either
any clues?

Make sure the mod is not getting overwritten by any other mod in MO.I'll uncheck leanwolfs mod and check if the problem is still there, trial and error ... :>
