I have uploaded a patch for Agent of Righteous Might. It is a simple patch that relocates the entrance to the hidden hideout on Lonely Mountain so that it is compatible with Dragons Keep. It should make it easier to reach. If the NPC does not follow you in/out the cave, this is a flaw in the original mod which I cannot fix.
Make sure to put Dragons Keep after Agent of Righteous Might in your load order, with the AORM patch after both of them, or you will have weird terrain.
That house is for the headmaster of the school & was never meant to be a giant castle player house, & that will not change. It is small on purpose. The player can also live in the private quarters if they want to live inside the Keep. The mod was always intended to be a boarding school first & foremost, & was never intended to provide a giant castle player home with everything you could ever think of. There are already a lot of very good house mods out there that do that just fine.
There may be a conflict with another mod, as this has been tested & is working for many others. Try putting this mod as low on your load order as possible, & check for any other mods that edit children in any that would affect them being able to use the dialogue.
This one is the 3rd 'house' mod I installed and OMG I love it. I think it needs to be much brighter (reading/studying/etc. in dim light is bad for the eyes), but it's so amazing. I was afraid my pc couldn't handle it, but outside of a few brief moments of lag, it worked beautifully. There are too many little details to marvel over, but it really is incredible. Seeing all those kids playing and laughing was rewarding. The orphans will now have a place to grow up and learn so they don't struggle as much in their adult years. All these homeless kids are getting off the street! It would be nice if there was anything indicating you actually own it - perhaps a letter from the former owner giving it to you because.... they're dying or... something. Perhaps have the guards acknowledging you as the boss somehow.
That is something I am working on with a quest the player can choose to do or not. When I first made the mod that was beyond my modding skills & a lot of the ideas I had were impossible to do. It still won't be something to buy, but there will be an option to complete a small quest to become the new headmaster, who would be able to use the house as part of the position.
Yes, glad you found that out. Dragons Nest will act like any other Multiple Adoptions compatible house mod, & the cool thing is that this mod tricks the adopted kids into thinking that the whole school is also their home, so even though they are technically adopted kids & not Dragons Keep students, they will wander the castle & do things in the school to make it appear that they are also students there.
Yes. The slots are pre-made waiting to be filled. There is room for 6 girls & six boys for a total of 12 students that can be recruited & sent to the school to live in the dormitories. If you decide to use the smaller house as your home & are using the Multiple Adoptions Mod, then you can adopt up to 6 more kids to live there & they will also wander the school grounds & classrooms as part of their default adopted programming.
since I am basically a luddite and haven't successfully converted anything from SE/AE to LE I have to ask if anyone has built a patch for TKAA Renewal that they'd be willing to share? Thanks
(love this mod - it makes TKAA more fun since I have a place to put the orphans that doesn't leave them sleeping on the streets)
just to bump the conversation up (hopefully) any chance of a TKAA renewal patch? It's been ported to LE but I wasn't sure if the Director's cut patch would work with it. Thanks
Is it possible to move into the Private Quarters with my family? Not sure if by default I have ownership of the keep/castle/etc, or if there is a way to grant myself ownership so my 6 kids aren't stuck living in the wilderness.
Use the bless home spell inside Dragons Nest to get your family to move there. They will still roam around to all the other places in the castle including the private quarters, but their beds are in Dragons Nest.
Small question.. I´m using TKAA Renewal and would love to use this mod too but, no patch.. can I use the SSE patch ? or do I content myself with either giving the orphans a new home and potato heads or.. ignore the urchins, somewhat thinking " at least they are not ugly".. ??
The TKAA Renewal mod was made for the SSE version of the game only, so I would be surprised if you were able to get to work in SLE. If you were able to get it to work in SLE, then maybe the patch will work for it too.
