This house is really nice. Simple, clean, spacious. I can take my hoplite army or other NPCs into it. The katanas on the 1st floor and the axes in the bedroom are nice. Arcana and lab tables are well placed. I would add more lights in the ground floor and basement. Well, good job, me give endorsements. This mod, I highly recommend to other Dovahkins.
By "warmer lighting" you mean more contrast between lights and dark corners? About adding more items to the exterior, actually I was trying very hard to be as unobtrusive as possible in order to make it more compatible with whatever mod any of you may have, I even considered not including the tree next to the house. This is just my second mod ever and my first for Skyrim so thanks for trying it and for the feedback
Sorry for the late response =) When i meant warmer lighting; i meant like for example, the fireplace or the candles inside doesn't provide the same kind of light source feel like breezehome does making the room feel much dimmer and colder especially at night.
I like this idea, it's pretty cool to have a house outside of the walls but still close to everything. You should add farm related stuff to the exterior like crops and fences and possibly a cow. It'd make it feel more like Breezefarm instead of just Breezehome-Outside-Of-Whiterun. Still, I like this a lot. Would you mind if I made an add on for my Dragonsreach Dungeon Home that adds a trapdoor connecting Breezefarm and the Dungeon?
It's nice to see this mod come up for several reasons which i'm going to download and try it.
- It's closer to Whiterun and the local hunting area for new players or for restarting a fresh game. - It has the base amenities like the alchemy, enchanter, tanning rack, forge, smelter, grindstone and workbench. - Lots of storage to sort out things for anyone, especially for a level 1 character that has to haul all the loot before getting their first hold house. - A base for beginning players to settle in if they opt to explore more before beginning the main quest line. - With multiple follower mods, it's nice to have companion beds especially more if you have more than one companion following you around.
Great location and kudos for making this mod!
Edit: Just took a look around in it after the install, it's nice to have all the room to walk around in, especially when you have followers who happens to be in your way.
I see no problems with going up and down the steps so far, all the storage seems to work; the room/s could be a little warmer in terms of lighting, but that's very minor.
Have you considered some fencing and barrels outside to give that feel that it is a farm?
