Good Mod but there exist small Problem for me, iam using JKs Mod to improve Ivarstead and the House-mod and some Partsof the other mod are glitching each other nothing serious but it is noticeable.
You can see it in the forth picture of his mod there is a wooden stairway and there is where your House is. If it was possible to move it(the House) back around ingame 1-2meters so that wooden way is free than it would be Perfect. Or atleast if that Tree isnt isn n the way.
I Tried. Didnt make better or atleast 50% better and 50%Worser see the Pictures/Screenshots because seeing it yourself is better than my english ever could ...?! A floating Stone. I cant open the Door. And the Fence of the JKs mod is blocking the Entrance.
The floating rock and the wooden fence do not come from my mod so I can not fix them. You can fix them yourself simply by disabling them with council commands. Open council, type " Disable ", click on on the object and press " Enter ''.
I still cant open the Door iam not sure it feels same as the one before...maybe i use the other and then console codes to disable the things in the way...
Hi Thank you. Indeed Ivarstead needs a forge, but this is supposed to be a simple house in a simple village. However I did add an anvil and a workbench by the mill.
Might be a bit much to ask, but maybe you could do 3 versions? One with an imperial banner, one with a stormcloak banner, and the third one I'm not so sure.. Perhaps the dragonborn symbol/skyrim icon?
Anyway - This looks like a beautiful house and will definitely track it for future playthroughs!!
Good idea I'm already working on an update. So I'll make a Stormcloak version, now I'm not sure about using the symbol but maybe a neutral flag or nothing will do better.
i was wondering how do you have the sun dial date and year thing in the corner of one of your screen shots and is it possible to get that for my saves as well?
There are a lot of tiny one-room cabins on the Nexus, but few of them have interiors as nice as this one. You've done a wonderful job at creating a home that looks comfortable and attractive without feeling too fancy or out of place. I hope you make more home mods in the future, as you seem to have a knack for interior design.
Are there any specific instructions for upgrading to Version 2? I want to upgrade to the version you just released, but I don't want to mess up my save...so I thought I should check before downloading! Thanks! : )
Would it be a good idea for me to first remove everything I've had my character store in the house before upgrading? I've seen that mentioned before on other player home mods...just want to do one last double-check before I take out the old and put in the new. : )
Wow, I like the interior. Very polished and cozy looking. :3 I look forward to testing as I have always wanted a house to stay in in Ivarstead. I haven't really seen much homes there before --- I'm sure there are lots but I haven't come across them. I do have a question: is the interior/exterior NavMeshed for NPCs to walk inside/on the porch? I do agree with what @Flammenzunge said about the description. It is good to consider. I also have a suggestion, though you are free to not add it in, but maybe some decoration/clutter/plants around the exterior? You have an incredible interior and I think making the exterior have some more clutter will work to make it blend in with the interior. Like I said, you don't have to do that. Just my suggestion. ^.^ Well done.
Really a great mod. I like how you decorated the home. Also the location was perfect! I don't think there are a lot of mods that make such a nice home to Ivarstead. Only thing I didn't like about this mod was the music that plays inside the house - that's just my opinion and I know some will like it. But I really think it'd be nice to get a version of this mod without the music playing there. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
This is definitely an overlooked player home mod, because it's gorgeous! And a great location too!
I like how it blends in with the rest of the settlement, but I agree that plants or maybe even banners (possibly?) on the outside around the porch would make help balance the exterior with the beauty of the interior. I didn't care for the music in the house, personally - but I find that music a bit dramatic for a home, but maybe that's just me?
I thought it was cute when I arrived that my good buddy Klimmek was hanging out and drinking on the porch when my character and her spouse arrived from the long ride from their other home outside Whiterun. : )
Overall, I think this is fabulous work and I hope more people catch on to it, because it's definitely worthy of more downloads and endorsements! : )
I think it's incredibly nice furnished and very cozy. This could be the home of an average Dovahkiin. But I would recommend you to rework your description. I feel like you're loosing so many endorsements just because of this very rough description. You could write, for example, something about it's lore, unique features, Compatibilities, mod recommendations etc. Just seems better
