Does this work in latest Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition? I am using mod organizer and with mod installed I don't hear any difference in the combat sounds, help me.
Absolutely brilliant. One thing, in the optionals you must download the sounds for bow and arrow separately if you want them in your game. They don#t come with the main download. No performance hit, much more realistic and heavier sound during combat, amazing bow and arrow sounds. Can't thank you enough for this mod, ENDORSED.
This simple audio mod is awesome. You wont want to go back to the default combat sounds. Although its not as big of an overhaul as other mods, what this mod does better is stick to being simple and game changing. Every sword slash feels like a richer blow. It makes any combat situation sound a lot better.
Oi! I'm not entirely sure if it works to do it this way, as i haven't gotten in game yet to find out, but Vortex has an option to right click the mod and unpack the file "(as is)". i had the same issue as you, but doing this got it to at least act like its installed. Sorry if this doesn't work and i end up wasting everyone's time.
Nice! I knew something was off about the combat atmosphere! Thank you! I think the original was too sharp and hollow and echoing, and probably more.
Now if I can just remember the name of that mod which fixed the fight music - it's annoying when I'm just fighting a wolf and that pompous music plays as if something heroic is going on, or when I've already one-hit killed said wolf and the music will still be playing for quite a bit...
