This Mod completely changes the experience. I hope you come back. I don't think the armor reduction is worth it. In dark souls you can create a tank, but here, is the problem. Maybe, limit of 70% would be ideal
Just becouse you know, but what makes dark souls very nice in the gameplay are things like lock on target, dodging, specific attack animations for each kind of weapon (and not same animations for ALL onehanded like here) and so on. *Those* are the things that would definitely improve the odds for games like this one. To deal more damage or take more you can simply change the base damage of every weapon, not really difficult.
There are lock-on and dodging mods for Skyrim. Also a mod that reduces enemy tracking so dodging works better. I haven't used any and don't remember the names (but should be easy to find). I also think a mod that makes 3rd person more playable would help.
So I installed this mod manually and my last save was from 2 days ago and i can't disable this mod because if i do my hud become f***ed up i can't see s*** so I am forced to enable this mod. Is there a way to fix that ? Nvm turns out it wasn't that mod sorry for the harsh comment
maybe you figured it out already since its really late but just go to your mod manager and right click on the mod to uninstall it, just in case you still don't know
"Armor bonus and armor scaling are less effective", is effective armor still capped at 542 and just grants less reduction upon reaching the cap, or can you still achieve the 80% but need a higher armor value than 542 to get it?
I think i have an issue... Is normal that i kill almost everything in one hit? I mean, i think that i am overpowered, i kill almost everything in one or two hits with an steel sword, im lvl 10 and i dont have any other mods that changes that. I dont know why i make a lot of damage an also the shields doesn´t protect me as they do in dark souls, even with the shield raised i get a lot of damage b(ut i can handle that) so it maybe is an incompatibility problem? you should reduce magic damage, this is why dark souls 3 made magic weak, soul series is mostly based on melee fighting. If magic is present, no need to use a weapon since it's stronger any how
I don't understand these comments. Why do you care if others use magic? And it's not even true with Dark Souls 2. My any% speedruns are so much faster with melee. I don't want to hijack this thread, but that's my 2 copper pieces.
The thing is magic is extremely unfair for non-magic users in this mod, you usually get one hit killed by mages and with a group of mages you can't even fight back if you're a sword user
I don't know if this is true for anyone else but I feel like magic is OP against my character. Like I can't even fight bandits who always have fireballs and get 1-hit killed before I could reach in and kill them.
