I also have a Whiterun Mod I am working on. The ETAC version is done, but I want to release the other at the same time. I'll post it as soon as I'm done. I still have to fix some of the Nav Mesh issues in Riverwood. Again thank you all for your support. Please Endorse!
Thank you SO much for giving this Mod a try! I'll be making some changes to the mod here soon. Originally I made it for EATC, and realized more people run vanilla Riverwood. So I thought I should do another version based on it. So I will be putting some more time into that file.
There is also some Nav mesh issues that I will address. If there are any incompatibilities or conflicts just let me know! If you are using mods that already add allot of trees or foliage to Riverwood, let me know, and I may make some changes for the more popular ones, like Towns and Cities Enhanced Riverwood. Again thank you sooo much and any suggestions are welcome.
Sorry for the late reply. I have no idea why that would be. I guess check to see if you have the most up to date version of Skyrim.... but I'm sure that's not the issue as I'm positive you have other mods. Do you have any other mods that affect Riverwood? Or maybe you downloaded the ETAC version without ETAC.
i love the look of your mod -- i love trees everywhere. I myself have made the tundra in Whiterun a forest. The following comment is not to draw people away from your mod but to give another mod that I love some recognition. That mod is http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35842/? Skyrim Reforestation Project - Build your own Forest - Trees and Foliage Magic. I cannot understand why his mod only has 173 endorsements.
Or they are only aligned because the trees that weren't aligned in between have been felled and used leaving the aligned ones on the edges of the road and houses
It's credible when you consider that pine is a cash crop in Riverwood. Those trees were left standing because of their placement, and might even have been planted by the locals once the village was established.
Yeah, It's difficult to place some of the trees in a good spot considering it shouldn't be too dense, due to the fact that they harvest them. Still I'm planning on fixing a few things. Thanks for the tip, and to all the supporters!
Looks good, personally i use "Towns and villages Enhanced - riverwood", but i had to remove some of the trees from that mod. I had a random thief coming into town and he was just walking up against a tree, another npc just kept running into a chicken because his path was changed.
Like Harris has said, you have to be careful in placing things, npc's don't always like it. But for your first change, it's quite good and not to heavy like some other mods.
Thanks! I'll download Towns and Villages Enhanced and see if I can make some changes. I previously used tht mod, and it adds allot of stuff. Still I'll keep the nav mesh in mind, that's one thing I didn't consider.

Either way, I love the foresty look of Riverwood, and this just makes it even more awesome. Thanks!
