These are great, but do you think you can change the textures so that they look different from one another and different from the other soups in game? That soup texture....not so appetizing. :/

I have add a new file. You can now buy some of the foods from inns and your spouse.

Thank you for doing this. I very rarely go near the alchemy or enchanting stations, unless I absolutely have to.

Is it possible to update for the DLCs as well.

    Cheers, endorsed

Make this I Need compatible and I will use it for sure. As an avid Hunterborn hunter I would love to be a bit more inventive when cooking in the wilds. Slaughterfish Sushi anyone?

Sadly, I don't don't know how to make it iNeed compatible yet, but I will see about doing that.

Needs more pie..... I see a lot lot of food on display, in inns (ETAC/ mod resources?) that I can not buy from vendors or seem to make, would love to see this mod expand its recipes into craftable and purchasable goodies (snowberry pie anyone) . Will keep an eye on this one. (Ineed fan wanting a change from chicken and potato and more from its Innkeepers...)

I do plan on making it so more vendors sell the food and I will be expanding on the recipes as well, but I have been busy and haven't had the chance to even get on my PC let alone work on the mod lol. But I promise you, I will be making this better :-)

Just to let every one know. I have change this mod a bit. The vanilla food is back to normal and the carrot soup now cures poison. All the other ones are now separate foods.

If there was a way to have the cooking skill progress as, say, your alchemy level increased, this would be a much more appealing mod (I mean, 60 points of hp from one piece of food seems like a little much) but otherwise it looks good

One thing though, I figured chicken soup is what would cure all your diseases

Cooking for alchemy is what you need. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28030/
Also have a look at Campfire Cooking http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43805/ which allows you to cook at any campfire without needing cooking pots.

Sadly, I don't know how to make it so you need certain perks for cooking but I will look into it. I already decided on changing carrot soup to chicken because I realized it would make more sense (Great minds think alike, huh?)

Yay - This'll help out my little Bosmer, who's having quite a bit of trouble regaining her health. Might I suggest adding/changing recipes to get more non-plant based foods, though? - I'm trying really hard to avoid all plants on my Bosmer, just for fun, but I've recently turned into a vampire since I couldn't cure the disease XD (And I've always felt shrine healing is a bit cheating )

This is just a first draft of the mod. I will be changing a lot of the recipes by the time I am done. For instance, I plan on changing carrot soup to chicken soup because I realized quite quickly that it would make more sense.

    Two more quick points:-

Merilla has abandoned her mod Babettes Feast http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5816/ and has given permission for use by any other mod. Could be a good source if you are looking for further inspiration.

Do you know if your foods work with iNeed?

I only changed some of the values of the food so it should work with iNeed but I because I am still in the process of reinstalling some mods I haven't been able to test it with other mods that effect food yet. I plan on redownloading iNeed today so I will test it soon.

I agree with the others. This is a good idea for a hunter playthrough. But I think you should have to add simple alchemy ingredients (not just salt) to the cooking to achieve boosted results. That way it's not OP but a good alternative to alchemy.

Edit - if you do agree with the above then this will save you some time for the common ingredients

Restore Health - blue mountain flower, butterfly wing, wheat
    Cure Disease - mudcrab chitlin

That's a good idea. I will see about putting some of that in.
