I'm sorry for the lack of update, been a bit busy lately. People have been asking me where to get the old version of ECE, unfortunately I dont have a copy of it and I couldn't find aswell, so either someone could share it with us or the mod will continue to be dead.
I found a copy of Enhanced Character Edit v 0.85 on my computer. You can download it from here: https://www.mediafire.com/?4ssfctzzxnxyln7.
If anyone is interested, could you please check out my new YouTube channel. I do cinematic skyrim videos and aim to showcase some mods. I could even do Nina preset if I had permission. http://youtube.com/elsenorperro
Sadly this doesn't seem to work anymore with the newer Racemenu. Her face dimensions are off and her nose is.. well.. you get the idea However, there is a way to do this with the new Racemenu 3.0.0.
You still need to install everything under the 'Tools' section described on the front page EXCEPT the chargen plugin, because that's already included with Racemenu (removed from front page now). Go to the Racemenu page for proper installation instructions.
Download the preset here to endorse later if you like it, but don't install it. Go to the original Aurora mod and download it. There is no need to install it as you will only need the face geometry files.
Open the Aurora zip file and find the folder "FaceGenData" located in " DATA\Meshes\Actors\Character\". Copy that whole folder to " Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Exported" in your main Skyrim game folder. The "Exported" folder should be there if you installed Racemenu properly; if not then create it. Rename the "FaceGenData" folder as you see fit for easy reference and future deletion. The folder should contain "FaceGeom\AuroraFollower.esp" and the esp should have a large number of *.nif files.
In-game type 'showracemenu' and navigate to the "Sculpt" tab (top right). Press the "Import Head" button (key shown at the bottom) and you will get the option to select which folder to open. Select "Exported" and navigate to "AuroraFollower.esp" so that all the *.nif files are showing. Press the "Accept" button twice.
You should now have proper Nina face geometry . Select the "Sliders" tab (top right) and go ahead and tweak the face/hair settings as you like. Once that is done, save your preset using the "Presets" tab and do a preset test load to be sure you have it as you want it. You can now delete any extraneous files that you don't need anymore.
Hope this helps! Oh, and don't forget to endorse this preset if you like it.
Going to give this a shot...thanks Samustus! I just d/l-ed RM3 and was looking around for presets to try out all the new features, didn't want to mess up my own characters, right? If everything goes according to plan, I should be able to endorse this preset/save game once I get it locked in. Perhaps somebody should contact the author(s) for permission to upload the slot files at some point?
I brought this up to Shadowfake a few months ago and he said it was looking fine....? It wasn't for me though thanks i can finally get her face back to normal, i knew there was something wrong with when i used the new racemenu.
Just a note about neck gap/seams, if you are getting them. You need to note down the weight of the character you are taking the geometry from and change your body to that weight before importing.
I couldn't get this workaround to actually work, but using that preset on Ningheim female, it yielded some great results. I was able to successfully recreate that cute short haired pale girl, though with as many mods as I use it took me forever to find the right eye color and hair..
Just that my stupid machine can barely handle Skyrim on minimal details, so it looks terribly ugly and still has some tearing in combat. (which is very weird because when skyrim came out I could play on fairly high details with normal fps.. there must be something gradually fucking up my 2GB GT540M because this same thing happened with Witcher 2 too, and some other games.. things I could play 4+ years back now have like 10 fps..)
hey you seem to know whats what was wondering if you could help me out or anyone on this thread. i have everything looking great and what not but the only thing is the head color doesnt match the body color like at all. how do i fix this?
I'm using UNP body with SG Female textures renewal and my head and body blend perfectly, try that if you aren't using it, I've experienced that same problem before.
Can you share any tips on how to get this preset to work using Mod Organizer? I have downloaded and extracted textures, but when I tried to paste them under Data/textures/directory was no "actors" folder. I simply created it, but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work. Skyrim folder seem to lack "data/skse/plugins/chargen/presets" path. There is no "Skse" folder inside "data" folder. I suspect this might be because I'm using Mod Organizer? I want to also say that this character is the sweetest fooking looking character I have so far seen on Nexus and I really hope I will be able to make it work.
Might be kinda late to reply to this seeing as it's August :/. but the "data/skse/plugins/chargen/presets" directory is found in "mod organizer/mods/racemenu/skse/plugins/chargen" you may have to create the presets folder. It's found here because Mod Organizer avoids altering your skyrim data folder so that you can run different profiles.
hey i just installed and followed your every step (actually fixed a few things to so thank you) and i went into game, loaded everything up and she looks amazing!! just one thing, the head doesnt match the body color. how do i fix that? thanks
Hi there. im having trouble with this. I dont have a presets file in my female skins file. ive tried adding one or leaving it out of it but F9 wont change it to the right model. i have all the correct mods etc. whats wrong?
Is it possible for you to make this file NMM friendly? I totally love her and I would love to play as her, but I haven´t downloaded a mod manually before... and I can´t even find the map to install the files on :/
