There would be no point being werewolf then. Besides, if you want to make this realistic, as Aela says at some point, that happens only if one loses himself to the beast within.
I actually like the fact that I can't feed or use Dawn guard abilities when I "Lose control." It makes it feel more immersive, especially with the "Tales of Lycanthropy" mod on - I'm in control of myself normally, but come 8 pm every night I go crazy go nuts. Kudos!
i havea few suggestions hopefully they are not to silly
1. introduce a bloodlust system. if you fail to eat a certain amount of people (or animals if you have the perk) you start to develop a bloodlust and the chances of going crazy are increased. so even if you dont use werewolf form for combat all that often you still have to shift in order to keep the beast in you happy and under controll. be perfect for roleplaying 2. make a patch to work with moonlight tales where you are uncontrollable during the full moon.
Yeah, I use Mighty Beasts, so it wouldn't really work for me either since the NPC werewolf likely wouldn't have the buff build that mine does. But I love the idea behind the mod. I think there are methods of making the player character submit to AI functions, so maybe Gene will be able to integrate that eventually and find a way to make it compatible with MT. He's proven to be an excellent and creative modder so far, especially when it comes to scripts, so I have faith.
Nice. I have had fun with this mod. My problem is that I play on Legendary and my werewolf invariably gets beat down and dies on this difficulty level. I wish there were a way to buff the wolf so that it had a fighting chance. 'Uncontrollable' .INI options or an 'uncontrollable' perk tree or branch would be cool.
Also, I think an option to force the change based on moon cycles would add a lot to this approach.
I would love to see a module where you automatically turn into a werewolf at midnight on a particular night, like when both moons are full or something, with notifications as the days go by how much your "beast blood" reacts so that you can plan to be away from the city when it happens, and sleeping doesn't prevent it - if you're asleep in a building you are forcibly woken up and just go berserk. I think it would give an awesome werewolf feel to go with the rest of the mod if it could be done
hey great idea. i think integration of player's level is a perfect touch. but i think creating a perk or another script for tracking the progress or amount of time spent in beast form and hence calculating the odds would be greater.
as in, you will restrain yourself as a werewolf when you get accustomed to it right?

You (modder) could use the menus of MT

Moonlight Tales does exactly what you're describing and way way way more. except I'm uncertain about the compatibility.
