It bothered me that the Stormcloak armor given when joining them was light armor. For a warrior Nord, that really isn't that helpful. This set not only fills my heavy armor needs, but it matches the Stormcloak coloring well.
I'll have to make a light set of armor for the standard Stormcloaks. The way the troops on both sides are set up is: normal units with light armor, Officers and up with heavy or unique armor. I'll look into making a light set for the Stormcloaks and replacing said armors.
Is this your first mod? If so, it is exceptionally well done. It may be a subtle change, but this re-texture is on-par with vanilla Skyrim textures, no small feat for your first time. My Skyrim is having issues ATM, no idea why, so I can't try this mod out. But if I could, This armor would be some nice variety to play a scumbag storm-cloak racist human-supremacist genocidal rebel.
Thanks, like i said earlier, I do plan to update this in the future so keep an eye on it when you have fixed your copy of Skyrim
EDIT: Yes, this is my first mod, I started up other mod projects while making this mod to quicken my learning curve, when those are finished, they'll also be uploaded.
That's officer armour, which I personally don't like the way it looks and the imperials have heavy armour, then higher ranked armours. When I've done everything I want to do with this mod, there'll be the standard plate armour, an elite plate armour, and lastly the officer armour. This won't happen overnight to be sure, I'm still pretty new to modding.
The retex appears to be rather subtle. Some sections of the armour are coloured blue (Vanilla armour is all silver). I'm guessing you'd notice it more in outdoor lighting. The indoor candle light subdues the blue a bit.
I wouldn't judge this harshly but may I add some suggestion? I think you really should add Stormcloak's tabard on cuirass or bear symbol perhaps tweak a few thing. I don't think Stormcloak are professional soldier like Imperial Legion but they should be more proud of their uniform, show their symbol of their cause.
When I first thought of this mod. that was exactly was the first thing I wanted to do, add the tabard and find a good place to place the Stormcloak Symbol. The only problem is I have no clue how to do that. My plans are to learn how to use nifskope, and maybe I can then do that.

Good job, and thank you!

Immersive armour does have a heavy variation though.
Funnily enough, it's a combo of officer armour and the steel plate (like the one used here).

This is my first mod I ever made btw.
