Looks really great, i am going to give it a look....suggestion for the quest you were thinking of adding, How about making the player track down the original owner? you could put the journal in the market place or the Bee and Barb. you read it, and it starts the quest. kill the owner, and he has the key.
ok I just check out this mod. It look amazing, great detail, and set up. The problem is, I went into the house, and Everything in it, was flagged as steal when I looked at it. so that's a bit of a bug. I only have basic modding know how, so can't offer any advice as how to fix this
found a bug,but i don't know how it is related to the house.with this mod instaled, near fort dawnguard,i have some weird textures ,some rocks that are not finished and this is preety upseting. here are some pictures for a better view of the problem.i am not sure if this problem is caused by this mod,but in my case, with it on,i have those rocks there http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/gallery/album/65-texture-problem-fort-dawnguard/
Just 2 little suggestions - The flags hung inside shouldn't be moving like there's a strong wind blowing there and since you're already using a sunken foundation make a trap door rather than the portal in the closet. Everything else about this house is great, good layout, just enough clutter, nice location.
The key for the home is under the bridge, as stated in the description. But you could always just use the unlock command if you want to do it quickly. A small quest will be added in the future
Faction, there is a journal on the nightstand in the home that details the lore behind the home, what happened to the owner etc. It revolves around the Dawnguard from the Second Era, when it was founded. But throughout the house are several vampire killing weapons, like crossbows and dawnguard hatchets. As well as some mounted vampire lord heads and other artifacts. One such artifact is just a right hand of a skeleton, and I wrote a short and simple story, like a legend, that explains what that is as well

I'll add a link to this on my own mod's description
Keep up the good work and long live the Dawnguard!
