to wit: Unpack the .bsa file into the same folder as your portable hole.esp file, delete the .bsa file. (you should have portable hold.esp & a scripts folder remaining) ; create a new .zip (or .rar) from this folder. This will generate an installable version; use ' Install from File.. ' from the Vortex menu to install mod.Full on win.
In the archive there are no scripts folder but only esp and bsa. deleting bsa, creating new archive with esp, use nmm option "install mod from file" - see activated esp in the list and nothing works.
Just brilliant. What self-respecting high fantasy setting doesn't benefit from limitless carrying capacaty? And, since it's a spell, one could even hang the elusive Immersive title on it. Compleatly stable and nonconflicting, this one's a gem.
this was the first mod i ever used ever for skyrim on the pc and i think in mods in general my favorite mod of all time to lol so useful and effective works perfectly never had a problem with it. used it for years. glad its also on nexus i always downloaded it from steam but i prefer nexus downloads.
works perfectly! was also pleasantly surprised to learn you get experience for using it! HOT TIP: install SKSE and enable container categorization and all your scrolling woes are gone too
Love the concept, but the book doesn't appear in Helgen for me. Haven't seen it in merchant inventories either yet, BUT it's a fairly new restart for me.
It might be because I'm using the Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod, even though it doesn't change the room you find the potions in, where the book is supposed to be. If I get the spell book via console commands, it works flawlessly. Seems less prone to bogging down the game than Bag Of Holding is during loot transfers if I have tons of junk in the "hole".
As a previous poster pointed out, it fits my mage concept this play thru also.
The spell activates the container (wherever it is hidden). That is all that it does. Cast the spell and the container opens. Add/remove items as you wish.
It does not read as a container that you summon and then access. I think it is more of a spell that automatically opens the inventory of a hidden container. Think of it as a bag of holding without the "armor piece" for activation but rather a spell.
I would suspect that this might be a nice addition for mages. Doubt I would use it myself as I am building my own inventory management system that includes a bag of holding. However, I will download and check out the scripting to confirm or deny my thoughts on how it is made.
