Hello everyone. Thanks for downloading... OR considering downloading. If you are considering downloading... DO IT!
SkyRe versions... if someone wants to make a SkyRe compatible ESP and host it that's fine by me as long as it requires my download. But after talking to T3nd0 the author of SkyRe all that's required is the user to properly configure the patcher xml file according to the documentation. Do not ask me how that's done since I have no clue. I do not use SkyRe and have no intention of downloading it to find out.
Now that we got that out of the way, I hope you all enjoy the bow and arrows! Please post screenshots of you using them! Seriously post screenshots! I love seeing screenshots.
Vortex throws up an error, saying that the .bsa file is for Oblivion, not for Skyrim. This is too bad, becuse I quite like this mod and now i can't use it until this issue is fixed.
It would be neat if you could make arrow with minimal damage that would do what the Spriggans do to animals. Mind control or what ever it is. It may only work on deceased animals too. Now that I said it, maybe it's a bit nuts. Low poison damage on bundles of arrows would nice because I wouldn't be dumping a whole bottle of poison on ONE FREAKIN SHOT. And maybe a bow version in aged walnut and aged/dirty'ish teeth as an option. I like the teeth on the front for bow bashing but wonder about the side teeth.
Hello Jet, I'm loving the bow and the lil story involving it but there's one thing I found on my play-thru while using this bow. When I aim at whatever I want to shoot, the arrow actually travels higher from the cross-hairs :/I have to aim and shoot at knee height areas to hit the chest. I currently have 2 points in overdraw and Quickshot. Any help will be appreciated
That sounds odd. Overdraw and quickshot have nothing to do with the aim. You have to be using something that changes the aim in some way. vanilla Skyrim the arrows hit below the crosshair unless the target is in your face. you may be using something that adjusts that as well as compensates for gravity. The vanilla arrows have more gravity than mine so they drop quicker over distance. this was adjusted so my arrows will fly further with less aiming above the target than vanilla arrows.
You could have modified an ini file that adjust the aim as well. If you go to Angi's camp and do her training the closest target should be aimed almost dead on and the furthest you should aim above it. if with the practice arrows you aim at the furthest target to hit it rather than above it you are not using default settings.
Use Tes5edit, deep copy override from one to the other. remove the new dependency. then unpack the bsa of the bow that was copied over with bsaopt and put them in the data folder. the ID numbers should all be different so there shouldnt be any conflicts.
Looks sweet!, Would love that the bow had a bit more wear n' tear. (not such smooth wood), but thats just my opinion, I wish I could mod/make things like this. Thanks, non the less it looks great! PS Love the arrows in particular.
I am not a great texture artist so if I did that it would look far worse than what I did. Also why I said in the use permissions it's OK to make new textures for them. Figured someone may do new textures.
Honestly I would ask that in the mod forums. More people to give advice and it is a more appropriate place to ask questions back than a mods comment section. There's a few links to tutorials that can help get you started in the forums already and if you have questions there's usually someone who can answer.
Here's a useful tutorial for bows that may help: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13604/
I use a skin wrap modifier to do the vertice weighting though. You can do a forum search for that as Caliente and I have explained how to do that a couple times.
Great work, You know there was an artifact in morrowind called the helm of Oreyn bearclaw which was supposedly the skull of a mighty bear killed by a hero, Here is the best mod for that item if anyone want's bear clay themed equipment http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30069/? though the author of that helmet mod should have set it as circlet rather than helm as then it would not remove the hair but still cool or maybe you could make your own version as your bow is very nice looking work and a themed helmet and bracers would go very well indeed. Nice work.
Thanks for the link. Not related to that storyline but cool nonetheless. Maybe that legendary hero was an inspiration to Master Bowyer Karagorm when he created the bow.

This is the sister bow of Arrowsong .
I know the claws on the bow do not look like actual bear claws, I don't care! I liked the name so it stuck. So please no reminders lol.
*Edit,
Alternate reduced shine texture is uploaded.
Sorry I will not be doing a complete texture change I am not a texture artist and if I did change the texture it wouldn't look any better.
Enjoy the bow folks.
Yours,

Quick question- is it possible to merge Arrowsong and Bearclaw in a single ESP? That would be awesome >=)
Thanks for downloading.
