I would totally use this mod as an 'NPC adventurer generator'. I'd get a mod that allows me to recruit a bunch of followers to intentionally dismiss them so they can all go off on their own adventures. That way you can keep adding a bunch of adventuring npcs into the world. Add the Populated Skyrim mod to 'farm' more adventuring NPCs to dismiss, and the adventuring scene in your world will probably be alot busier and active.
There's even another mod that lets you make groups of with ANY npcs to roam around the world as well with customizable group AI. Imagine randomly coming across Ulfric and Tullius skipping side by side in an open field holding hands somewhere in Skyrim as BEST FRIENDS 4 LIFE LOL.

Please try the mods published here. We have confirmed that it works with AEversion.
This mod allows all custom followers in Skyrim to start wandering with just one click of a button from MCM. The display quota in the MCM is about 120 people, but it is actually unlimited, just limited to the number of display quota. By pressing the button again, the next group will start wandering. I have tried it with almost 300 followers installed and it works fine. It can also be used in conjunction with “Follower Goes on a Trip.” There is no hassle of talking to each follower and repeatedly hiring and firing them. They just walk around the inns and other places in the main cities, they don't appear in the dungeons, and there are no exclusive quests, but they definitely make the world come alive.
I have the problem, that when a follower takes a bounty quest and you reload the game he seems to "forget" the bounty quest and just goes on a trip. Anybody else have the same?
Check LoversLab for a more updated version (Feb 4 2021). Not sure if I can link the site but Googling "Follower Goes on Trip Loverslab" should get you there.
I mostly play with custom framework followers like Inigo, Lucien, and Skeever. Will those mods simply ignore this mod or will prompts or things happen that could break their custom AI?
I suppose this mod might be worthwhile if it still worked for vanilla followers like Lydia and Serana as long as it didn't break other followers.
Has anyone tried the more feature-rich SSE version on Loverslab? Is it stable?
Hello everyone! I have a strange problem with this mod: When my char meets one or all of the "trippin" followers, they start following me again. As if they never were send on a trip. Even when i dismiss them, they stay at my side.
I am using EEF and CS Tag and Track.
..hopefully someone will read this and be able to help
Do followers only go to vanilla only areas? This mod seems col but it would be weird to find followers at certain modded areas they shouldn't even be at.
