Very nice mod, sad that is on side of the map - not in the centre :( I dont use fast travel at all, because Skyrim with 1000 mods and random sawning enemy is beautiful but also dangerous.
After trying dozens of player homes I must say that:
Normally I like low profile homes, the best ones I found are Old Hollow Chalet, Northwind Cabin and Rayeks End, also Hidden Hideouts is good. But Ravens Nest Tower is very convenient, a bit big for my taste and a bit of cheat, but confy and really easy to use. Excellent placement for landscape pics, also is not crowded like the typical mod but furniture and decorations are sober but beautiful.
I want to use Raven's Nest as a main base, but I spent all the day trying to make the interior brighter without breaking the weather mod and the rest of locations in Skyrim... no luck. I wonder if any person has info about how change the brightness of this tower. For exemple, I don't remember the name of a mod that keeps customized profiles for selected locations... damn.
Hey, I ported it myself and tested it out - works perfectly! Only took a few minutes to do and I'm hardly a Skyrim modder lol. You can easily do it yourself any time :-)

Man I love this thing! It is beautiful yet deceptively uncomplicated. There is this indescribable allure that these stone built structures have! I do however have some gripes with it, they are of a minor nature though! First of all the obvious, the exterior and the interior sizes of this tower do not match at all, in that it is much bigger from the inside! In fact it is almost three times as wide from the inside than it is from the outside, and I'm not even sure about height. Now I'm pretty sure that a lot of towers in Skyrim that have interior cell's have the same problem so I can Imagine this being a problem to fix using only vanilla textures! Also instead of mannequins in the basement I would have preferred some special containers for ingots, leather and such! Other than that It really is prefect, I cannot overstate how much I love the interior of this place it, it feels very lore friendly and it is in such good taste!
Well Done...Nice Lay Out...Best Location (IMHO)... For "immersion" do not move in until Alduin, Lord Harkon and Miraak are defeated. Consider it a gift from the greatful peoples of Skyrim. It will be well earned at that time. The view from the tower is amazing!
A really well though out home with some very nice details here. The pool is beautiful. An older MoD but it caused no issues in my load out. Looks like the Mod is been dormant a while. Hope the author is still around. Some updates (linked storage, an auto un-equip for the pool) would be the icing on the cake but seem unlikely since there's little happening here since 2014.
the Dragon priest mask display stole my Masks.... Still, get this mod

It's a good fortification turned living space, while not losing the feel or function of either.
