A very useful mod for those of us that enjoy using Frostfall. The only thing that detracts from it is the odd lighting effects I experience. Apart from that a very welcome addition to the immersive mods. Thank you for your effort and for sharing it with us. Happily endorsed.
Thank you! I apologize that it takes me so long to reply. I know the lighting is weird with my patch, but it seemed to be the best fix I could find at the time. I'm hoping to be able to research another way to fix this, but I don't think that will happen for a few months yet, at least.
The easiest solution I've found around it is this :
Ensure you are looking at your child Enter the console Once inside the console use the mouse to click on him (it should display his ref id - thanks to frostryder for this excellent piece of advice) close the console Enter the tent Open the console and type moveto player (just ensure that the ref id is still displayed at the top of the console) It should teleport him to you (if it doesn't work on the first attempt then type it again - ensuring that the ref id is still displayed)
The other solution, once you have his ref id is to create a bat file that will summon him without having to do it the slow way :
To do this create a text file in your data folder Name the text file after your child
Add the following to the text folder
prid ######## (the # represents the ref id displayed when you click on your child whilst in the console mode) moveto player
Save the text file
Then, when you are in-game simply open the console and type 'bat ****' (without the inverted commas and * representing the name of the text file you created) and close the console
That should bring your child to your side no matter where you are (if it doesn't seem to work on the first attempt type it again and it should work).
It's a workaround that I use due to the restriction on Serana's summon spell.
I have the child adoption mod, and have him follow me and fight with me, but he won't enter the adventure tent. Only Lydia. Is there a reason for this, or is it just incompatible with that mod?
Also, I noticed that a lot of the mannequins are raised off the floor.
My apologies for the delay in reply. Real life has kept me away. The mannequins have always been buggy. I think it's just a mannequin thing. HerrBaron, the author of the tent mod suggests a script mod for mannequins that allows you to re-position them. It doesn't stop the flying, but it does allow you to reset them. As far as I know, that is the best fix at this time. If you go to the page for the tent, you can see where he suggests the "Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix". As for children, the tent is not set up to be a home for children. It came out before Hearthfire or the adoption things, to the best of my knowledge. You might check with HerrBaron on his mod page. Sorry I don't have better answers for you.
