Well, I tried it... at first I thought it was ok, but with all the missing texture issues, it simply is not worth using for me. No arrow in your hand when you draw the bow, nothing visible when you hit someone with it etc... something is screwed up with the record for it. Not sure what, as I am NOT a modder and completely hate that darned construction kit as it does not make anything obvious on what you are working with... load an esp and unless you know exactly what that esp contains, you can't find the changes etc...

Anyway, since I have a character with advanced enchanting skills, I have already enchanted my bow to do more damage anyway, so I guess I don't really need an arrow that does extra damage. Although I do tend to use the explosive arrows from a different modder as it is funny watching peeps blow up when they attempt to run towards you after you have already shot them with an arrow.

Thanks very much for your comments. I am very surprised by them as the mesh used was a common one from base skyrim and should show up. It certainly does in my game. I will take a close look at this and if I get similar comments I will withdraw until sorted. Ta for your help.

No worries, and likely it may not be your mod causing the issue, so don't beat yourself to death attempting to find the error. I have the max number of mods installed, 254 well actually 239 for some reason, wyrebash doesn't count things correctly, but I have the absolute max that it will allow installed.

As I mentioned earlier, I play with a lot of archery related stuff, so likely it is just an incompatible mod conflict with this one.

I truly need to learn the Ck better so that I can merge mod files correctly. Some seem to work and yet others cause CTD when I merge them. So, a major learning curve is needed I guess.

Again, thank you for taking the time to create and release the mod, it just is not something I can currently use. I will try it again, with a new character the next time I restart from scratch... already played all the dlc's through at least 3 full times, along with several other expansion mods along the way.

Ok, so it is supposed to be a godlike arrow?

Can you provide actual specs please? As in does it do 48 points damage? Or is it enchanted to do an additional 1k points of shock damage? What does it add that a normal arrow does not have?

I certainly am not going to download, install into an already overloaded mod list, go traipsing through the game to get to solitude and find the fletcher just to decide if I want this arrow.

Otherwise, thank you for taking the time and effort to create a mod, but please describe what it actually changes.

    Thanks again.

Traipsing all the way to Solitude is deliberate. What is the point of a 'special' if you can pick it up just anywhere.

The actual damage the arrow is set at is 999. However it is difficult to state precisely as various mods and settings tend to alter things. In my game for instance the main inventory menu shows damage as 1150 whereas the actual arrow descriptor (when you highlight it) shows 150.

The arrow is designed to do the job with one shot although it will not penetrate magical defences as used by necromancers etc.

I am quite happy to alter/amend/update if given proper guidance etc.
