Latest update is up, and has the "Pimp Hand" ring placed next to the book. The ring can be disenchanted so you can put the effect on anything. Obviously if you already used the book, the ring will do nothing, but if you want to remove the permanent effect, just use [help "get out"] to find the spell ID, and remove it from yourself with player.removespell XXXXXXXX.
The enchantment allows you to make the effect "toggleable" by taking the item off.
There is a known bug with disenchanting the ring. I tried to fix it, but it seems to be an issue with the conditions getting lost when you enchant an item. I don't think I'll be able to fix it without scripting, so it will just have to stay. It still won't effect creatures in combat though (or shouldn't, but everything else has bugged on me so far, so who knows).
I like the reference in the beginning there! Thanks too for this mod! Now I can add some funny moments for when I need to get to Riverwood in the beginning or maybe a race to get some Sweetrolls. Whatever, thanks so much though!
I was taking in a scenic view a couple of days ago, when Lydia ran up behind me, and pushed me off a cliff. I need a, 'KEEP A FEW FEET AWAY.' mod to be made. To go with this one... . I always keep an eye on Lydia, when I'm near a cliff now... . I also have and over friendly horse that thinks its Spiderman, standing on near vertical rocks, just to be near me. As well as finding it in the tent on Frostfall, when I wake up...
Sadly that would not be so simple as this. It would require either changing the racial data possibly, or changing AI. At least we can push them back now, right?
Yeah! NPC's never liked being hit in the face with a shield, to get them out of the way. Now I don't have to... . How about horse tipping then, push a horse over to get it out of the way...
Try it and find out. They are bigger, so you might have to hit them just right, but you should be able to knock them over too. My Saber Cat pet is about the size of a horse and I can knock him over.
@Krazyman999 Use AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks). It's 20x better than UFO or any other companion overhaul mod (more stable, less script-intrusive, more options, works out of the box with ANY follower regardless of how custom). It includes features for both follower distance, and a function that can be enabled in which when you sprint into a follower they teleport behind you.
I'm not trying to diminish the accomplishments of this mod, I just thought I'd point out a mod that does exactly what you need!
Thanks... I'll give AMAZING FOLLOWER TWEAKS a go... I've just installed ULTIMATE FOLLOWERS OVERHAUL, and am testing that out. You can give your follower a spell book and tell them to learn it. I wonder if they could learn GET OUT THE WAY and start knocking me over... . As for knocking over the horses, I just bumped my own horse out of the way today. Didn't knock him over, but its something to try. The LYDIA THE UNBURDENED mod, gives Lydia a horse that cannot be hit. When its in the doorway, you're screwed. You have to tell Lydia to get on the horse, and hope she moves it out of the way...
i think it's possible in a way, make a script that makes you act like a collision object so the AI doesn't even have the ability to push you around since the game sees you as an unmovable object.
At the same time, it may also be that the AI just does not see you at all, and it would only be a matter of injecting you into the list of "NPCs" that it avoids, as stated by another person in the thread. But what you are talking about is the navmesh. AI uses a pre-compiled mesh that shows where it can and cannot walk. This is compiled from every area and stored in your files, and can't be made dynamically. That's how NPC's avoid static objects.
Either way, I'm leaving that up to someone with more time to bang their head on their keyboard. The creation kit is amazingly frustrating, and seems to never do quite what I want. I don't ever want to get that deep into it again after another mod I did.
This worked for me after the 1.1. Pretty fun & practical at the same time. Hitting people from different angles & on uneven surfaces causes different falls. Good job man
I was tired of Skyrim being so bare, so I added the "Populated" mods and Inconsequential PCs (Interesting PCs will be next now that this is here) and I noticed that, while they all played well together, people tended to congrgate near the entrance/exits inside inns and some shops. Now my Dovakiin can elbow past them like the thuggish dragonslaying brute that she is and belly up to the bar with a bottle of Honningbrew's finest instead of her puppeteer having to TCL her into the d**n bar.

Thank you thank you thank you!
They walk around each other, so why not you?
Many times has my view gone from "looking at someone in the eyes when you talk" to "Hey! Where'd ya go?"

Thanks and endorsed.
