Any success on the all-in-one version yet? Still awaiting developments. I would think you might get more endorsements, if such a package were available.
I think I'm just about there, glsator. I've got some redevelopment left to do, and testing first. Not really being a mod developer, I have a learning curve to overcome, while running a small business to keep the home fires burning. I do what I can, when I can. I get what you're saying, though. It's easy to get buried under the list of follower mods that have multiple body options, in-game body changers, and slick features that require a much bigger brain than mine I have a couple of people who are giving me some great advice about developing this fully. Stay tuned!
A really good start for a mod; well done! If only you could put it together in a single esp, or offer alternative CBBE or UNP body types, then I'd endorse it twice if I could.
Thanks, gslator. Single ESP is coming in v2.0. I hadn't considered building alternative body type versions, but I will look into it. If I have the time and can get some intellectual assistance on how to do that, I may roll that out, too. Thanks for the endorsement, and feel free to upload a screenie or two! -Babaloojah to ya
I hope you have as much fun with these NPCs as I did during testing -
If you like Charlize Angels, please take a moment to endorse it!
Also, anyone with greater modding experience that can guide me in using nifskope (or another method) to make this mod completely standalone, please reach out. I'm a total noob at this and could use a helping hand here.
Interesting - What subrecord errors did you see? I didn't get any errors on any of the files when I ran TES5EDIT prior to launch. I will look again. I will make any corrections necessary and put them in the update. Thanks for the input, masterpoe!
the errors are just due to facegen being ticked on, untick - resave and no more errors (no big deal) - easiest way to make stand alone body is to create duplicates of headpart/naked armor/armor addons and skin textures sets - rename them to make new ID's and then delete the duplicates, then point the new ones to your body assets (meshes and textures) - ensure the naked armor race is set for your npc race and add them to the npc. - after test use tes5edit to ensure the old duplicates are properly deleted. simple once you have done it once, just get a pot of coffee and bikkies but its not really a requirement, using "as is" the npc's will just use the standard female textures folder (i haven't tested the mod/girls - just peeked in the ck )
Thanks Apogee - I will hit you up for more a more detailed Q&A on the body thing once I get this pesky textures problem fixed. The facegen ticking issue was the first thing I checked, it had burned me before. In my haste to get the mod published I neglected (by sheer ignorance) to include the textures folder in the archive - a rookie mistake. Live and learn. Thanks for the assist!
- You're correct, Bella is not a true requirement. The girls just don't as good without it.
im sure i have Facegen ticked on with a couple follower plugins, its actually best to create a dummy duplicate of an NPC and tick facegen on that one for the Character menu yah just pm me anytime.
masterpoe - All the components are there now. Mod is working properly with no tes5edit errors, except for a weird editor id on Katrina's hair, but the hair shows up and the NPC performs exactly as designed.
Very intuitive of you, sir. I included her data in the meshes folder instead of using the BSA. It's been a long day making this thing work right. Thanks for sticking with me
Pappy - you've been visiting LL forums, haven't you? I considered using Apachii, but everyone does, and I wanted these followers to be a little unique. Thanks for the suggestion, and for the "beta test". Let me know if she misbehaves. I will probably upload an Apachii version in the update. Thanks
*EDIT* FYI - Charlize is in the Whiterun GUARDHOUSE - it's next to the main gate, just to the left as you enter Whiterun.
I have played Skyrim for over 2500hrs, and walked through the Whiterun gate on countless replays, never even noticed the door on the left... I have to say Charlize demonstrated a lot of technique for an Angel on our first encounter , misbehaves...darn right!!!
** ZZJay has figured out what the problem is with the hairs - The textures are missing, that's all. I'm working on fixing it now, and will update soon. Thanks for the encouragement and the endorsements, folks. It makes a big difference.
