Cats in the Dark
================
v0.1
Welcome and thankyou. We're going to have a lot of fun together.
Cats in the Dark will take your Khajiit character and replace their not-very-exciting Night-Eye spell with a highly customizable constant effect, designed with the help of REAL SCIENCE!
Requirements
============
None, apart from SkyUI which you'll need to get to the customization menu. And a Khajiit character, of course.
Installation
============
Simply place the esp file and the scripts folder from this archive into your Skyrim\Data folder. Or use Nexus Mod Manager to do the same.
Customization
=============
In your MCM menu you'll find three settings for overall brightness, depth-of-field, and ancillary effects. Used wisely, they let you tune the mod to your liking. The brightness slider is most important. Try to find a setting that works both at night and in dungeons without being overpowering during the day. The depth of field slider controls the amount of blur applied to distant objects. Some people like the effect, others hate it. You can remove it entirely by dropping the slider to 0% if it causes trouble with mods like Dynavision or ENBs.
The ancillary slider controls the intensity of all the other effects, principally the desaturation and the radial blur. It's best to adjust this one once you've found a brightness level to suit you.
The defaults are what work for me. They should be a reasonable middle ground, but don't be tied to them. Your lighting setup, monitor, eyesight and personal preference is bound to be different from mine. Enjoy the mod!
