28/2/2014 I'm working on the 1.1 which will have adjusted hi-res textures (2k) and adjusted attack range. I'll also try to find an alternative way of scaling the model so there will be no distortion with animations.
1/3/2014 I just uploaded v 1.1 which fixes most of the skinning issues and also gives the rhino a higher res. textures (2K). It also makes the hit detection better and gives the Rhino a health and damage boost so it's actually a dangerous encounter.
v 1.2 released - improved the collision/ hit detection of the rhino - improved the specular map textures on the rhino - increased hp and damage - added some fur on the rhinos back and rear - increased the rhino's size ca. 10%
I really like this mod and had it for a long time and its great to see them when you roaming arouund the centeral plain/tunder of Skyrim but because their are only 6 rhinos it can be hard to find them if you want to see them as it took me about 15 minutes even if most aren't to far from whiterun to find one but as i suggestion it would be great to have a few more rhinos but its a great mod a must have if your looking to add something to the tunder of Whiterun to complenment the Wool mammoths just needs a few more
DUDE! This is like one of the greatest hidden treasures. I remember the first day I played Skyrim. I was like Yaaaay there's a wooly mammoth. Yaaaay there's a sabertooth tiger. Then I was like..............hey.......wtf........WHERE'S THE GODDAMN f*#@ing WOOLY RHINOCEROS!!! Are you kidding me? I can live without the giant groundsloth ...but.. Haveing the mammoth and tiger and not the rhino goes straight to subliminal cocktease ocd wtf Naggatha Christy immersion shattering I hate you dumbfucking office nerdass morons that can't get thier s#*! together with the obvious. But, Bethesda right? The miracle lotto winning dumbasses with one of the most broken games becomes the biggest game in history. Go figure but, I digress. Yeah Dude. Sweet. Thank you so much for putting something that should of went with the set in the beginning. I'm not even ever gonna kill one on purpose :D
Watched an enraged rhino kill a mammoth before destroying almost all of my health (I was at lvl 50 btw) and charging off into the sunset with a trail of dead sabre cats in its wake. 10/10, would watch a rhino on a mad rampage again.
Will this be ported to the Skyrim SE? I really miss the awesome rhinos this mods added...the plains of Whiterun feel a little more empty with them.
I tried using the latest version of this one but it seems to have some compatability issues, I'd guess its the scripting of the rhino? Skyrim SE wouldn't start with this mod active.
You can port it over yourself, but I'm thinking of converting it and I'll contact viltuska and see if they'll upload it to the SSE Servers. I've already helped convert Wild Penguins, Sea of Spirits and Beast of Tamriel for the community. I definitely want this little guy up in my game too. Cross fingers. I've completely and 100% converted it to Skyrim Special Edition. Hope to hear from viltuska so that we can get this puppy over to Skyrim Special editions. Now all we do is wait.

One question, are they able to roam around? The rhinos that I'm seeing in my game spawn at the same points each time and stand in place.
