!! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION PAGE FULLY AND SLOWLY AS IT WILL HELP YOU TREMENDOUSLY !!
1) Please do not ask or post if anyone can send you a mod that has been removed or a site where you can get it! That goes for legit files from other sites as well.
2) Please post all questions concerning SMC issues and solutions here. No need to make a new topic in the forums.
3 )Please post all SMC suggestions and mod requests in the forums headings made for them specificly.
4) And for the love of God read the description page and check the forums fully and slowly before posting a question here. The team will go out of its way to help a legitimate concern but if you are going to ignore what has taken hours to write and answer then you may not get the answers you seek.
5) If you feel we are being a bit abrasive with answering questions that have been asked 1000 times then SMC might not be for you. You really need to do your homework here.
6) This page was not made for the noob modder in mind and so for those just starting out Gopher has a fantastic video on modding. I have watched it several times already and watched alot of others he made. They are very informative and should be a staple for anyone who wants to mod skyrim.
7) If after reading the description page several times you feel totally confused and lost...then dont use SMC yet (not being snarky just realistic)...see step 6.
I started this page because at that time there were no complete instructions on the install and usage of SMC and i was very frustrated, but i really thought this to be a fantastic idea and so with Driggers permission this site was started. Ibeas7n and I have taken great pains in insuring a concise and working installation method on the description page. It works...it really works. 95% of the questions are already answered in the description page and the other 4% in the forums. Reading and understanding and rereading and comprehension are the tools you will need for a successful install. Ideally SMC should be installed on a fresh install of Skyrim and then you can add other mods. But you must read all of the mods instructions also. There is alot to read and understand in utilising SMC and if you are not prepared to do that then just dont start. You will save yourself and us alot of headaches. Those willing to read and understand and use a bit of logic..you will have a gorgeous Skyrim when you are done.

I've released working beta of SSEMC more than a year ago and haven't updated it since, unfortunately. I'm still collecting and sorting mods, but I don't have time to make actual complete definition lists and keep them updated. So no, sorry, it won't be released soon.
Who needs to play Skyrim for a quest. Just finding a number of the required or suggested mods is a quest in it`s self. Would have been good if those mods where removed from the list and replaced if possible with alternatives. I realize that some of the hard to find mods are excellent. Got the list about 90% done though. One plus of hunting down those mods I got to visit some interesting web sites....if you know what I mean
Hi, Skyrim Realistic Overhaul is back for SSE and oldrim here. Could you put it in SMC ? ;) https://www.moddb.com/mods/skyrim-realistic-overhaul/downloads
So some mods pages dont have the supported versions. For some of the unsupported versions of mods I can rename the archive and SMC says its now supported, will they still combine properly?
Thanks for the quick reply. It combined fine but haven't tested it in game yet. Yes I will update it whenever you update it but for now will use it as is as long as there's no problems.
Firstly thanks for all your work on this. For some of the mods SMC seem to ask for unsupported files in the properties tab. For example https://imgur.com/a/UfTo14n Am I doing something wrong?
