I've added a video that shows the sounds I've changed in action.
I'm thinking I'll probably change the "idle" breathing sounds for 0.3
Also considering changing the skeleton footstep sounds. I won't make those quite as quiet as the draugr ones are, since they make sense a bit noisy (no skin / muscles / fat to muffle sound), but they're far too loud for my tastes right now. Sounds like a dainty elephant stamping on the world's largest typewriter.
based on the video, I think the footsteps should be even quieter. i think by combining this with Dungeon Darkness and almost any lighting overhaul, you would have no idea the draugr were coming until they were right on top of you, which would make crypts much creepier. keep in mind im posting this before experimenting with this mod because i wont remember to come back here once i've got it lol.
Disclaimer: It might, it might not. And the mod is currently far from complete. If you do end up trying it, any feedback you care to give would be appreciated.
I did plan on adding a video shortly--just had trouble during my playthrough getting into a position where the sounds would be very distinctly noticeable. I'll probably just resurrect some dead draugr and film them this evening. Sorry for the oversight--I wanted to get this out and get feedback.

All I saw is you looking around a cave and getting slapped by a draugr.
It would be very interesting to hear what the rest of their growls sound like at this lower, deeper pitch.
Still tracking.
I have looked around for a while to find better more "creepy" draugr sounds but nothing out there really works for me.
Maybe this will...
