Animations for Clutter_Statics in 3ds Max Tutorial
This tutorial shows you how to get animation into a nif and how to clean and prepare the nif in nifskope. Knowing 3ds max and nifskope are requirements.
***Disclaimer***
The 3ds max script for Anton's Body Animator, which you need to use for this tutorial, may or may not be severely limited. The entire point of this tutorial was to show people how to fundamentally work Anton's tools in the purview of 3ds max. You may need to use Anton's mesh injector and also create two bones and name them correctly for 3ds max, you will understand all of this if you watch both videos on Animations for clutter, this one and the one for Blender.
Blender works perfectly well for exporting animations into nif's. I personally use blender for the animating part and 3ds for the modelling. This is more of an overview of the process, its important that you understand that this will probably not yield perfect results. If you figure out how to get the 3ds script to work in whatever way, let me know and i'll update the video. I highly recommend watching both videos and choosing the blender option if you're serious about getting flawless results.
Thanks to Anton for the tools and ManicZombie for the 3ds max script.
