I was going to use this because it seems like a really good mod but then I saw all the USLEEP incompatibility craziness going on in the comments. Looks like i'll be using this instead: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1542/. It's much simpler but at least I don't have to worry about it breaking my game.

With your permission I'd like to ask the community to create a patch so that Thalmor and Arcane Clothing can work with USLEEP. May I?

Most certainly it may, for as long as I get credit on the mod page.

Also, if it's made, be sure to tell me where it is so I can provide a link on this mod's page.

      Have fun!

For those of you that seem to have game crashes on the logo screen, make sure you have Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp activated. The USLEEP (legendary edition patch) will not actually work. If you want to use this mod without any issues just install the unofficial patches for Skyrim and each DLC you have and the problem should be fixed. I used to have the same problem and the swap around of the unofficial patches actually fixed it for me.

Great mod and thank you for creating it. If I could make one suggestion it would be to create an in-game book with all the recipes so that you don't have to refer to the nexus page all the time

Thanks a lot for figuring it out!

Can't promise anuthing about an in-game book, it's a lot of recipes to cover, and I doubt I'd have the time right now.

      Still, Enjoy!

Can we get an updated version that works with USLEEP?

Really sorry, I just lack the skill and time to get that done : ( I'm rather out of the loop these days.

If you don't want to use the unofficial patches, I'm afraid I can't really help.

I've been having the same problem as Renlyb and warbear225. My game crashes right at the bethesda logo and I've tried uninstalling all my mods, but it still doesn't work.

Sorry to hear that. I use a heavily modded version of skyrim, and my mod's never caused any trouble - and I simply cannot find what's wrong with it. it's all very simple stuff really, just adding recipes and whatnot... Tell me, do you have dawnguard, dragonborn and Hearthfires?

im having the exact same problem as Renlyb. my game crashes during the bethesda logo. i've tried deleting all enchantment mods and any mods that have to do with the thalmor robes. the only mods im using now are retextures of the vanilla armors, specifically CaBals book of silence, a retextured archmage robe by rafuel. my other mods are changing the way my perks work. i've tried uninstalling your mod and the game runs fine.

Edit: i've uninstalled ALL mods and and it still crashes on me. oh well. guess i'll keep searching for an crafted unenchanted thalmor robes mod

      *two weeks later*

Sorry, I haven't had much time for anything lately, and I'm afraid I don't have anything constructive to bring to the discussion at that point. I tried to find a solution to Renlyb's problem, and I have simply failed. At this point, I'm just glad few people are having that issue.

Not sure why, but this mod causes my game to crash immediately after the Bethesda Logo on the main menu. No idea why, I simply downloaded with NMM so... oh well. Anyways, it look like an amazing mod and a quick scroll through the comments shows me no one else I having these troubles.

Then again, its possible it was conflicting with the Dark Thalmor Armor I installed... I've uninstalled both to fix the issue, I'll try reinstalling this again solo and see if that helps.

Edit: Nope, doesn't work. I even placed it earlier in the load order but it still crashed on menu.

One possible issue I can see - and since nobody else seems to be getting that problem, I dare conclude that my mod actually is conflicting, in one way or another, with another of your mods - is that the thalmor suit, being now split between hood and robe, is causing interference with a mod which expects to see either a «Hooded thalmor robe» or just a «Thalmor robe», and that the in-game disappearance of the former causes it to crash. I say ''In game'', because the item called «Hooded Thalmor robes» is still technically there in the game files ; I did not delete it. If you have any complex clothing/weather/whatever mod with a lot of scripted thingies going on, it might be the problem.

Also, this mod adds the Fortify Destruction Damage enchantment. IF you have vast and complex magic overhauls, it might interfere with them.

Whatever causes that problem probably isin't a very widespread mod.

OR, it might be that an error on my end causes a crash in very specific circumstances... But this mod being rather simple in nature, I quite doubt it.

Basically, I'm sorry it isin,t working, but I don,t really know what to do

Is there any way to buy Linen Wraps anywhere or do I have to tediously search for them?

Yeah you pretty much have to slaughter your way in crypts to get them.

But I'll be damned if you can't find a mod that allows you to craft linen wrap with another tediously-acquired item ; )

That being said, you don't need tons of linen. One dip in a draugr-infested pit should be more than enough.

I can't craft enchanted hoods in the same way I craft enchanted robes. Is this intentional or a glitch?

It is indeed intentional, the magicka regeneration and cost reduction of mage robes are far beyond what a character can enchant - even when using the alchemy-enchanting loop. That's why they're available as a crafting option. You can enchant other pieces of equipment normally and reach the same efficiency of nearly everything else, as far as caster gear is concerned. I just added enchanted robes crafting because robes are so crucial to casters. And because they're pwetty.

That's the whole point of this mod, in a way: it allows you to make something that was otherwise unattainable unless you bought it or slaughtered someone for it. Even thought it's rather common...

As far as enchanted headpieces go, you'll have to enchant yours the regular way.

      Have fun!

I was so excited to download this mod, but found disappointment. I was hoping to have hoodless Thalmor robes that had the high collar, but that still eludes me

That's because the hood mesh is the one that has the collar. You'd need to actually cut it off the hood and apply it onto the robes using 3d editing software to get that to work.

Turs out thought, there's exactly something that does that, somewhere on the nexus. Get out there and explore, son!

      There, found it!

Yeah, I tried that one a long time ago, but the lighting on it isn't right, which is distracting. It's never been updated/fixed, either.
