I am with the shout or cast to access the teleport menu.
Either way great mod DL and endorsed you made just what we all wanted.
Quick question though when using mark or the cogs is it better to place them in an interior or outside to make it less like to break anything in the game?
This is a great mod! It really helps to cut down on loading screens. If it's still being worked on, please make a shout to access the teleport menu. This would help streamline things a bit and we wouldn't need to click into our inventories or unequip something in the hands. A shout could also be favorited.
Awesome mod. How difficult would it be to add a feature where the Lever Mark menu option turns into the name of the area it is placed in? And possibly with the same with the Cogs as well? Nit-picky, I know, but just an idea for your consideration.
This is a great idea for a mod, but as it is now, I'm unable to teleport between my Hearthfire homes. I was able to teleport to Solitude, so it seems to be working for non-Hearthfire homes.
I really only care about teleporting between Hearthfire homes anyway, so I'm not going to get any use out of it until that works. Looking forward to updates!
You need to build the shrine in the basement of the house you want to teleport to. Also, it wont allow you to teleport to a vanilla house if you dont own it.
Any chance you would make the shrine requirement toggle-able? I like to have several small estates instead of dumping all those resources into a bunch of mansions.
Absolutely wonderful. Not only does it work completely as intended, the orb isnt too obtrusive AND is compatable with all of my player home mods which is just bonus points. Would like to see some additional places such as the dawnguard faction locations, but its also great for what it does now
Could we get more cogs? I like to leave them random places I need to return over and over for some period of time. i.e. Thieves Guild, High Hrothgar or custom houses. thanx.
I was just recently wanting something like this. I was thinking about how I liked the teleport system in Two Worlds II rather than Skyrim's fast travel. I have some ideas for you.
If you change the message boxes to a dialogue, you could easily have more than 8-9 entries without multiple menus or taking up the entire screen.
Maybe instead of checking if you own the location, you could enable options once you have activated that location.
I think you should (optionally) not be able to teleport if you are over-encumbered.
I think discovering/activating a location is not enough to unlock it. You should have to pay some money or complete a quest to unlock it. Also to use any of them, maybe should require a spell or something.
For immersion, If you put a teleport in a non-safe location (like the wilderness) maybe you could do something like make it camoflaged or invisible and cast a spell to make it appear.
If you are interested in any of these and want some help, send me a message.
