Whenever I speak to the merchant in The Drunken Huntsmen I can buy the deed from him, but the deed doesn't get added to my inventory. This is preventing me from continuing the quest to actually start work on the farm. I have already cleared the place of bandits and secured it for settlement. I just can't obtain the deed. Is there an item code that I can use?
Hi! I read other posts and realized I had to buy both deeds from the merchant. Try buying both, even if neither shows in your inventory. Then type this into the console (which you get by typing help "deed to heljarchen farm"): player.additem f702f3dc 2 Then you should have both deeds. Then use the workbench to start the quest and rebuild the farm!
