I downloaded the mod and just now got enough gold together to buy the farm, but when I went to the seller I noticed he had two deeds one him. I also have the Windstad Mine, so I am wondering if this is the same seller or a glitch. Any ideas?
The same thing happened to me. On my previous character, I had to buy it twice. On my new one I don't have enough gold to do that. I saved the game just before purchasing just in case this happened. The problem must be rare, I guess.
I just ran into that bug, so maybe it's not that rare. I installed the mod today, went to Drunken Huntsman, found the seller. He had two copies of the deed. I bought one... didn't get any kind of dialogue or text confirmation, and no quest began. Not sure if any of that is supposed to happen.
Found the farm, looked around. Didn't see a way to "start". Went back to Whiterun... Found the seller in the Huntsman and again he had two copies of the deed.
Thanks for the tip, I'll buy all the deeds he has and see if that gets things moving.
I found the seller with two deeds also, but only bought the one. You can start repairing with the wooden workbench near the broken down farmhouse, it tells you what to do as you go. When I interacted with it to get started, it removed the deed from me, so maybe that's why he sells two, or in case you loose it or misplace it?
