Looks like the mod is dead. Anyways, I've tried 3 blood magic mods, this 1 is the only 1 that works properly for me. The other 2 (Blood Magic In Skyrim & Aces Blood Magic) has some few bugs in 1 way or another.
What's wrong with this mod? You aren't really a stereotypical mage, all the magic here relies on you getting up close & personal, more or less like in Dragon Age Origin.So if you haven't played that game, don't be surprised if you turn out to be some sort of a mage-tank with this spell mod. Since I've played Dragon Age Origin, so I'll endorse for being just like in the game.
Just tried this mod out a bit, and so far I like it, sans a few tidbits. For one, both Blood wound and Blood haemorrhage do more or less the same thing. Is this intentional or an error?
Also, the 'spells' in this mod are lesser powers rather than separate magic school, so it doesn't seem to contribute towards any skill progression. Still, I think this mod is better implemented this way.
im gonna try this out, i got better vampires which lets me enthrall my victims, making them my followers. this together with these spells that cost health, but using those that absorb health from my followers in conjunction, would make a cruel but perfect fit!
I would have loved to have blood magic, since I specifically wanted to make a blood mage build. It's a damn shame that this is so buggy and unreliable that effectively it becomes unusable. Meanwhile, all other blood magic mods are just vanilla spells recoloured and overpowered, with one thing in mind "zap them hard and they die, woohoo, blood magic!".
Is grave robber supposed to deal damage to live enemies in addition to absorbing health from corpses? I was able to clear a whole dungeon by spamming it
This looks cool, may I suggest a spell toggle spell/power that ressurects any npc that was killed by a blood magic spell @ the cost of 10% of your health?
It's a damn shame that Inquistiion took out Blood Magic. Because Blood Magic was boss when correctly. Obviously you'd get killed quickly if you didn't use right. Which is why I always had two healers on my team. Me Blood Mage/ healer and Morrigan shapeshifter/healer.
That's the point of blood magic espeically in Dragon Age you give up health in order to use it. In Dragon Age health poitions only recover 25% of your health. The only way to regain health in the game is to steal health from your companions.
