Are different groups supposed to attack each other? I went to Valtheim Towers and there were two groups of bandits fighting each other there. One group was the named bandits from OBIS and the others were just named "bandit". On top of everything a patrol of Whiterun guards came by and cleared up the survivors for me, so I didn't have to do any fighting at all. Of course I didn't continue on that save because I don't like having things handed to me because of a glitch.
I'm playing with Requiem and OBIS + the compatibility patch and I have everything put together in a Bashed Patch so I don't know where the normal bandits are coming from, or if the guards are supposed to be that far from Whiterun.
Seems to me like an awesome and realistic situation that could ever so slightly show the player that the world does not revolve around them (even though it does).
Just one Question i went the first time to Black Falls Barrow with OBIS. When i cam to the point where the Bandit dies to the Trap he was allready dead and it wasnt possible for me to go ahed cuz the high level Draugr is this normal?
I am a long time user of OBIS and have enjoyed it immensely. However, I decided to play SkyRim with Requiem. I am using Mod Organizer, and so created a profile for a new character and added, among other mods, my OBIS files [OBIS.esp; OBISDB.esp [for Dragonborn]; and also OBIS Bandit Patrols. I of course included your OBIS Requiem patch. I checked everything thru Wrye Bash and updated the Bash patch. My issue is that there are no OBIS bandits anywhere to be found in SkyRim. Either the mod is not working with Requiem or there is a bandit convention somewhere that I was not invited to. OBIS does work well in another ModOrganizer character profile where I am using SkyRim Redone mods. Any Ideas?
If you are using the non-named version of the patch you won't see the OBIS bandit name so it can be hard to notice the OBIS bandit. Try the Named version and try to see if you can see the OBIS bandit.
Beside that, the patch is pretty old now and I don't know how well it goes with current OBIS and Requiem version.
Sorry I don't really have time to update this mod currently, I can provide the skyproc patcher source code I created to compile this patch if anyone is interested in it.
Well, Azirok has one up for OBIS now...it is located in his Patch Central mod here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54562
I've never had any issues with his patches but I don't exactly dig into the patches to see what they are doing either. I mostly notice an issue when I experience something strange in game.
I contacted Azirok to beg him to take over this patch and his reply was that a patch was already in the works. So...*fingers crossed*. A hearty thank you to FCqt for this patch but having something up-to-date would be wonderful.
