revisions: - removed duplicate black arrow entry from the crafting menu (old change in nomenclature that didn't get removed previously) - moved bow from Ebony to misc category, changed requirement from Ebony to Dragon - added unique enchanted version of bow named Dovahnir - added accompanying dungeon and quest to acquire Dovahnir. Dungeon also contains an unenchanted version of the bow as well.
DO ANOTHER BOW MOD LIKE THIS! this is one of my favorite mod out there, and u did a good job. I'm an archer and i find these quest related weapons mods so fascinating. you've done a great job. thanks.
just got through playing this in sse and i have to say kudos on the level design...it was very nice and creative...ill download here just to endorse even though i've moved on to sse. great job...ill see if you have relased anything else and give them a go too.
SOLVED: I figured it out after 4.5 hours of learning/experimenting with both ck and tes5edit. I fixed it with tes5edit for clarity.
The issue was the WEAPON did not have the ArmorMaterialDragonplate [KYWD:0006BBD5] as a keyword. Therefore my smithing perk mod, which calls on the skyrim dragonbone perk, did not acknowledge the bow as upgradable via this perk.
Once I figure this all out, fixing it was easy. Go to the weapon file in the mod and go to the keywords. Right-click, add, and it should add another keyword entry.
All I had to do then was edit the new keyword via right-click edit and replaced whatever it was with ArmorMaterialDragonplate [KYWD:0006BBD5].
Your ArmorMaterialDragonplate [KYWD:0006BBD5] might be different depending on mods (I'd think probably not though).
To find ArmorMaterialDragonplate [KYWD:0006BBD5] just navigate to your smithing perk and see what it keyword requirements it has to flag an item for that perk.
While it took forever, the silver lining is I know how to do basic weapon and perk modding now ahahaha.
-_- uh... its so easy to pass. watch the timing of each ice wave attack and act accordingly. or if its really hard for you maybe Slow Time + Whirlwind Sprint might help.
hank you for making such a wonderful mod ! It's really an art I‘m really want to translate it and put on a Chinese Skyrim mod conmmunity http://www.skycitizen.net/,Of course I will indicate the original URL and author . I'm waiting and hope your answer. Thankyou for uploading and others.
Excellent mod, love the look, as a full on rogue it's perfect, (just a bit large on my .95 female) one small problem it's not fully temperable... i added this line to the bow's Keywords... DLC1WeapMaterialDragonbone and now it upgrades to Legendary with the Dragon Perk.
Really love the mod thusfar. Only downside for me is the size of the bow, it's quite large, too large for my taste. Besides that it looks great, also the small quest and dungeon in order to get an enchanted version is an awesome addition to this mod! Definitly endorsed.
Anyone having problems with the note about the dungeon where the bow(s) are found getting stuck in the player's inventory after the quest for the bow has been completed?
