First Great mod But i have a question maybe someone can Help me.
I use the auriels bow mesh - 50% in my Personal use mod port it to SSE and it works But in Skyrim VR the bow gets invisible if i point it not straight forword.
Heyy, your work is amazing! You've made the vanilla weapons feel usable again for me ^ ^ But may I request that you also add the amidianBorn Skyforgesteel bow and shield to the meshes list, like you did with the melee weapons for it, please? I tried to do it by myself so I didn't have to bother you with this, but... Well, it didn't go well :c
I don't want to sound ungrateful toward this mod and all the effort that went into it, but there's a detail that makes me scratch my head, a lot. Whilst I agree that the vanilla bows are too much on the thick side, I also think that they're too much on the fat side. I'm no expert, but I handled a few bows over the years, both modern and ancient, and one of the common traits was that the limbs were comparatively flat surfaces perpendicular to the archer's vision (I hope I'm explaining myself right). Skyrim vanilla bows aren't just too thick, their limbs are simply too wide front to back to bend in any decent way. The limbs of a bow are shaped in such a way that they act like a spring, Skyrim bows seem more apt to act like a club.
Insaneplumber, as I said I don't want to sound ungrateful, it's just a pet peeve of mine.
Most if not all models of weapons from vanilla Skyrim is garbage for me. (oversized, swollen etc...) And this is my attempt to improve the situation for bows.
I agree on that count. What I was trying to point out is that having bows that are half the size side-to-side is great, but having the save kind of adjustmet front-to-back would seal the deal for me.
"but having the save kind of adjustmet front-to-back would seal the deal for me" That is one of the changes that will be in the next version. Unfortunately, recently I do not have much time for modding I can not tell when I'm done.
If you can do that and still make the bows compatible with retextures such as CM Wooden Bows, that would basically make bows in Skyrim perfect for me. If you are already working on this, then fantastic, if you don't have time and it is taking a while, it's all good, not gonna rush perfection.

My dream Auriel's Bow involves this mod, a scope, and a sexy new texture.
But this may change if something not provided happen. (nature of my work)
Extra wonderful that the installers let you choose exactly what bow meshes to replace (and not). A++!
