UPDATE: at long last an update released. fixes:
1) setting new home for 6+ pets
2) sheathe and unstealth while loading
3) an option added for disabling pets scaling
4) distance between pet and player made even further

Quick question though. if i may, I want to go from high res to low, my comp wont handle the skins of some of the pets. Can i just overwrite or re-install?

A: *sigh* okay, check this:
-> Download SKSE. (and yes, actually start Skyrim through it! )
->If you´re updating from old Tame Beasts... MAKE A CLEAN SAVE before installing Tame Beasts II
->Check your load order and place Tame Beasts last (or at least below all other animal mods).
-> ....If you still have any problems, then feel free to report them and ask, but pls with some more details ^^
Q:"Could you please......"
A: Yeah, maybe in an future update. But please post suggestions here . Its hard not to loose track if the suggestions and requests are scattered all over the comment section xD
Please note: I do not provide support in the suggestion forums thread, so don´t be surprised when your questions won´t be answered there.
Q:"The rare Beasts have weird colored, rainbow- pixel textures!"
A: Yep, this happens to those playing Skyrim on low (or maybe even medium) quality, due to our high res. textures because the game can´t handle them. Please download the low resolution version.
Q: "I cannot find the Hyena in the abandoned shack!"
A: Yeah this is a bug that happens to some. We dunno why. However, it isn´t in the abandoned shack, it is in the mysterious shack, not far south of Dawnstar.
Q:"I tame a pet and it just disappears! The call spell doesn´t work either!"
A: A tamed pet is automatically teleported to its "default" home, near the petshop. The call spell does only teleport your active pet to your side (in case it disappears or smtg). To get another one of your tamed pets use Recall
Q:"My tamed pet disappears/changes!" (A wolf becomes a sabrecat or smtg like that)
A: This was already mentioned in "known bugs" but ok, here we go again: This isn´t "our" bug, this happens due to Skyrims "ramdomly" created animals. To avoid this, either tame fixed placed animals (bears in a bear cave, mudcrabs, chickens, etc.) or spawn them via console. But not more than one of the same race, because the second one can be bugged.
Q:"Roselia doesn´t speak with me!/Doesn´t speak in general!"
A: Most likely something went wrong with the quest or the installation.
So you can either -> make a clean save and re-install Tame Beasts or:
if Roselia doesn´t speak in general, then open the console and type startquest tamebeastpetstorequest and hit enter.
If Roselia does speak, but you can´t "talk" to her, then open the console and type startquest tamebeastnamequest and hit enter.
Q:"My pet is named "None" and I have some weird bugs!"
A: "None" means, smtg went wrong with your installation. Make a clean save, try to re-install Tame Beasts manually instead of using NMM, and put it at the end of your mod load order.
Q:: "I finished the dragon quest but nothing happened! I cannot tame a dragon either!"
A: You don´t get anything from Roselia, your Tame Beast Shout is just "upgraded", so you can use it for dragon taming as well. You also need to fight the dragon first and get its health down to 20% before you can tame him.
Q:"When I name my pet, then it does not show its name when I talk to it... it only is shown in the pet list when I use recall!"
A: Name your pet (even though it does not show up), then open the console and type in "Help yourmonstersname 0", (yourmonstersname being the name you gave it before). You´ll get a line that's something like MESG: (SomeID) yourmonstersname
-->Then type in setactorfullname SomeID
save, reload.
This should fix it (thanks nojthebrat for this solution)
Q:"How does my pet level up? How should I train it?"
A: Your pet gains experience when it does damage to the enemy by itself. If you want to focus on training it, then protect it while it attacks, so it can get some fighting experience.
You don´t *have* to do that, leveling works fine when your pet fights alongside you. This is just if you tamed a weak pet and want to level it up faster.
Q:"The pet is so weak, altough it is on a high level! What can I do?"
A: Breed it, and ask Malbros for a super baby. The young beast will have its trained parents stats at level 1. But this does work only once, so take care that the parents are at a really high level.
Q:"My pet is invisible/gone/smtg else and the Track marker shows on an empty place! And I can sell my pet over and over again and can earn infinite money. How can I get rid of the bugged pet?"
A: You tamed a bugged animal, maybe a random one. Try this:
open console, type: sqv tamebeastnamequest
there will be a very long list (you can scroll with page up/down). Then you must know your pets order (First pet is pet000 or petcurrent000)
Once you found it, you get his number (XXXXXX)
then type in the console: prid XXXXXX
then type in the console: recycleactor (thanks to spontaneite for this solution)
then type in the console: moveto player
then: enable
And then abandon or kill it.
Q:"When I give Roselia the book, the quest doesn´t finish, the book is still in my inventory and the Lava Dragon spawns every time i get out of the petshop!"
A: Drop the book.
Q:"How is "My home is your home" being incompatible to tame beasts?"
A:It just adds its dialogue option when you talk to your pet. As long as you don´t use it, you won´t have any problems.
Q:"BOSS says I need Dawnguard.esm or my game will CTD!"
A: .... -.-
BOSS is wrong. BOSS is outdated. Dawnguard requirement was in a very old version of the first Tame Beasts, back in 2012 and it seems that this has never been updated.
You don´t need Dawnguard, but you´ll get that error as long as BOSS database is not updated. So.just.ignore.it.
