Please make a separate file for a Vanilla Blades Bow that doesent look like any of those Bows in witch i dont want to Craft aswell, becuase the only Bows that looks cool is the Bone Bow and the Horker Bow.
Your design principles are good, but your details are lacking. I think you'd benefit from looking into more complex textures and maps, meshes too. Try increasing the overall detail of things, otherwise the weapons won't fit Skyrim's aesthetic style (kinda chunky, but well finished), which hurts immersion
Texturing well is a real skill, no doubt about it, but there's basic principles you can learn that make a huge difference. A lot of it boils down to knowing how to handle maps, and there's a lot of resources available for that.
I can't really find any decent resources on texture painting at the moment, but there's a few mods on here with source files available (E.G Dark Disciple) so I'd totally have a look at those.
I really appriciate the help, I can't texture at all I can't get the hang of it, may you tell me which bows you find too chunky or out of place in skyrim
I'm no expert when it comes to design or anything like that, and I don't even know how to mod regardless, but if I might offer my input, these bows are still interesting never the less. Personaly I don't mind a little lore breaking, though I do wish the white bow had a bit more WHITE to it. Something about a fully white bow makes me want to have one. I won't ask you to change it in this mod, but if you did that alone would be an instant download for me, I don't even care about the stats.
Hello adding the above comments. I do think too that some bows are a bit to modern. Can you make a seperate file with the: Ancient Wooden Bow Bone Bow Spiked Bow Celtic Horker Bow Horker Bow
Ok, i'm creating a painting station where you can change the colour of the same meshed bows and adding a dwemer clutter bow and another good bow called whip bird (actually good in my opinion)
I only count 8 new bows...and these are hardly "immersive." The celtic horker/reg horker are the only immersive bows in my opinion, but then again, they are just 2 of the pack. The rest are downright out of place as a few others mentioned. I would recommend recalling this 14 Standalone Bow Pack or something of the sort. These bows need a lot more detail via textures, engravings, etc. For example, I'd recommend at looking at your characters back and using that as a source of inspiration for making new bows. Keep up the work
Well thanks for the input, I'm changing the name to Vorn's artillery as I said before most of the bows are from images cause I don't have much imagination when it comes to drawing
I'm having a bit of trouble with the whole "Immersive" part of the title. Most of the bows look a bit out of place, except the ones using vanilla meshes. The daedric bow has barely any resemblance to anything daedric in vanilla, and I'm sure Chillrend has its own story behind it, one that doesn't include a bow. So yeah, that's why the name seems a bit strange to me. Other than that, some of the models seem to need some texture work and some just aren't looking very unique.
If you're gonna continue work on this, I'd say fix the "Immersive" part either by changing the name, or changing the mod itself, and have another good look at your meshes and textures.
Sorry, unique may have been too broad a term to use. what I meant, is that some of them seem to lack a bit of detail, both in mesh and texture aspects. As for the name, anything could do, as long as it describes the mod as what it is, and not as something it really not quite is. If I had to give a suggestion, maybe something like "MJAB98's Artillery"? (I dunno, I'm not good with names!)
I understand what you mean about the mesh and texture thing, I've tought myself meshing and texturing so I'm not great and the bows where all made from pictures. I like the name a lot, I think Vorn's Artillery is what I should rename it to. (Vorn is my steam name)
well, what I didn't like was that most of the bows were just recolors of the other ones... A bow I would think would be good is one made of dwemer clutter.

Could I upload it in other website? And to indicate the source.
And thanks for sharing.
It is very famous in China.
