Never realized how much blood Skyrim demanded until I started roleplaying an extremely wholesome character. This mod is like a well fit glove for said character, and I am eager to try it out.
Edit: after using this a while it seems everyone still just fights to the death every time :'(
Same problem here. In the early stages of my gameplay, I tried both this mod and True Yield but now it seems the last stopped working for no reason and TES5Edit and LOOT don't show anything wrong.
No need. My followers don't accept yields because I told them not to. Delivering a quick death to them is far more merciful than me unequipping my weapon just to punch them to death.
I finally took the time to attempt this a friend of mine wanted to play one of my mods with SSE but unfortunately this mod, for whatever reason, cannot be ported as easily as loading it into the new Creation Kit and saving it. I'd have to redo the mod again apart from the scripts which isn't actually THAT much to do. No promises but I'll try to do it.
I've ported Yield 2.0, works fine, original author is unreachable however. Yield 2.0 has a badly made esp, all its records were injected into skyrim.esm. to port it you need to load it in Tes5Edit, select its records, rightclick > renumber records, it'll give you a list of plugins to target, select yields plugin. once all the record numbers in yield no longer start with 00 (except overrides if there were ones) save it. extract the bsa, load it in CK64 and resave it.
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent for role play purposes. I am playing a 'good-neutral' character and walking into a ruin slaughtering 20 people doesn't really sit well with him in this respect. This mod makes perfect sense since a 'good' character would most likely spare some lives and show mercy along the way. I don't see Bandits as wholly 'evil'; they may be deserters for instance and once they have got so close to death I like to think they will change their ways but maybe that'd being too optimistic. Anyway I digress, fantastic mod and perfectly scripted!
I agree! I hated slaughtering everyone in my path but I also didn't like other yield mods where -every- enemy always surrenders. My good character is fighting for her life against a bunch of dangerous men and women, and things get intense and people die until there aren't many left. Just feels so much more natural that THAT'S when she can start thinking about sparing people.
That'd be awesome. Also if this isn't too much, could you maybe look in to making npc's run away or stay down until we heal them or their health is recovered(maybe even thank you and/or help you)? Because it looks kind of odd the way they just get up and walk away after they yield . I understand if that is too complicated to script it's just an idea. But having this in SE would be great ^^. Thanks fo your hard work
sorry for my bad english, i have not found this info in your mod page so if you have time, can you tell me if this mod conflicts with Immersive Citizens AI overhaul Revenge of the Enemies and other combat mods?
I was wondering why all of a sudden this yield mod wasn't working right, it's because I installed immersive citizens. Instead of putting their hands up, they immediately put away their weapon and just stand there.

Any hopes you might try your hand again?
