Nah, it's not. Sorry. And OP, I don't see how generic red eyes and red face paint miraculously makes these Dremora look better. Black eyes are much more intimidating.
This isn't about making it look better or more intimidating, you seem to be missing the whole point of the mod. The eyes and face textures were made SPECIFICALLY to appear as they did in Oblivion. If you don't like it, don't download it - it's that simple. Go play Oblivion.
And while you're at it, you should go play Morrowind too, since you seem to be the type that thinks lesser graphics means a worse game.
Kids these days are handicapped with graphics, and likely wouldn't know a good game if it came up and slapped them in the mouf. To this day, I consider Oblivion the better game. Gates were infinitely more challenging and rewarding than dragons, and the whole feel of the game was more dark and apocalyptic, with demons jumping through portals and invading realm of man. The enemies were generally a lot more freakish and fear invoking. More and more gates popping up as you go through the main questline gave walking through the wilderness a strong feel of a world on it's last leg. But I suppose it's all personal taste.
Also, awesome job with this. It always bugged me that Dremora were essentially Dunmer clones in Skyrim.
I can't even tell exactly why - but I've never come out of a Skyrim dungeon and said: "Whoa, now THAT was scary! Man, the sun feels good." Oblivion's dungeons - especially the Ayleid ones - did actually manage to scare me sometimes. That's one thing I miss in Skyrim - no matter how gory the texture replacers are, I never get that sense of being stalked or walking into some sort of sophisticated trap like in some of Oblivion's dark recesses.
I'm really digging the new look, kinda remind me of the monster from Insidious. What mod are you using for the knight armor in the third picture if I may ask? It looks pretty cool
It's just an edited texture I did way back when I made this mod for one of the Witcher 2 armor mods. I don't have that texture anymore, but it was a simple edit anyway. Nothing crazy.
I call bs, morrowind is probably the worst one in the series, there is no actual voice dialogue when speaking to characters, you cant tell what you pick up is stolen until its to late, and witch is even MORE bizarre ( yes, more so than the fantasy creatures and magic) is that you can EAT friggen gems and ore. had it been one of the first Bethesda games I played, then I would have stopped right there and say that their games are garbage.
It's a bit of a work in progress. I'm not aiming for a huge new variety of additions to the Dremora race, I'm going for the appearance it had in Oblivion.
