Holy cow this worked. IT TOTALLY WORKED. But not only with me, I followed the steps and solved Queen of the Damned Serana´s issues as well, with both the bats cape and the power explosion when going under 10% of health. This mod is effin awesome.
I use this one personally since it always happened when going invisible and getting chameleon is a pretty cool bonus. I use custom eye nifs for longer lashes and different looking vampire eyes so I can't really use this file.
Maybe you could explain what you changed in the nif so people could do it themselves for whatever eye meshes they happen to be using? That'd be pretty cool.
edit: Ohhh, you did! I just ran the rest of your description through google translate...
Below, Japanese (The following sentences are Japanese.)
Of ShaderFlags1 reads the mesh Nifskope Remove the check of SLSF1_Eye_Environment_Mapping I was simply check the SLSF1_Environment_Mapping.
I do not know in detail, the phenomenon of collapse eyes transparent after this you will not.
It's a machine translation so it's not very good, but I get the jist of it.
edit: Here's some proper instructions for doing it yourself if you're using custom meshes...
Open your eyesfemale.nif (or the other one you want to change), expand it to the the NiTriShape and click the BSLightingShaderProperty. Down in the Block Details panel below double click Shader Flags 1 and a drop down box with check boxes appears, uncheck SLSF1_Eye_Environment_Mapping and check SLSF1_Environment_Mapping then save. After that, the eye glitch where your eyes get all wonky when you go invisible/transparent will no longer happen.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I'd been avoiding using invisibility after getting the glitch and fixing by reverting to an earlier save. Implemented your manual fix and tried invisibility, and my character's long lashes and gorgeous custom eyes were perfect afterwards. Thanks again!
Now if only Bethesda would fix the missing eye blinking they broke......I miss that.
Don't forget to check SLFS1 Decal in that dropdown menu. Especially since argonians and khajiits are missing that fix in the current download archive file.
So apparently it's a trend in this comment section to not leave incite as to the mod, but for us to wright our every thought, and then not check back and update the message.
Hello everyone I have this weird problem that every time I want to edit my character hair and facial hair with race menu or in ragged flagon with that elven woman I have to change my character's present and WHEN I DO there is this irritating glitch OR bug I don't know what is it exactly shows up, my character has another eye on him I mean like double eye(eye on the eye) , what ever I do changing eye color, eye shape... It won't go away. So any tip or any suggestion that can solve this s#*! please!
I've been having this issue with a follower mod, and said follower's face goes nearly pitch black too. Hoping this fixes the mangled mesh of madness eyes.
I had the invisible eyes on a new start and this below was the problem. I tried this mod and it didn't work as it doesn't address this issue. so here is the fix: Expired (the creator of Racemenu) forgot to disable the currently buggy and nonfunctional Face Overlays in the latest update, which is causing a ton of visual bugs, such as the aforementioned missing eyes.
You don't need to downgrade to an older version, you can fix this yourself by disabling the face overlays. Find the SKSE/Plugins folder, inside the Racemenu mod. In this folder, you should find a file called skee64.ini. Open it with a text editor (I usually use NotePad for this) go to the [Overlays] section and set bEnableFaceOverlays=1 to bEnableFaceOverlays=0.

What if I don't have that file?
