Release version of 2.0 is up. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/download/1000168731
Some common issues people have been asking about:
Q: Why is there no enblocal.ini in your download? A: Enblocal.ini will be generated when you run the game. You're meant to select your own AA options and configure the memory settings based on your system specs. Check the STEP guide here to see what it all means if you're unfamiliar.
Q: I'm trying to adjust values through the UI, but it's not doing anything. A: This enb uses weather-specific config files, so editing the general enbseries.ini won't have any effect unless IgnoreWeatherSystem is enabled for a specific category. To edit these config files you have to open the secondary weather window in the UI (the shader window is open by default) and adjust the active weather ini.
Q: How do I make nights/interiors brighter? A: You can adjust lighting intensities from the weather window, although to keep things consistent across the game you'll have to change the same values in each weather.ini file. Alternately you can edit the enbeffect.fx config from the shader window which contains day/night/interior separated postprocessing effects like brightness or gamma.
Q: Why is the image grainy and how do I get rid of it? A: In the UI open the effect.txt window and uncheck NoiseEnable. Then open the enbeffectprepass.fx window and turn the Grain Scale value to 0. The grain is used primarily to eliminate banding especially in the sky and in low contrast conditions (such as nighttime in the rain).
It is necessary to reduce the light in the caves slightly. Because even without light sources, the edges of the cave are visible. Thanks! Will you remove the smoke from the candle? In reality, there is smoke only at the campfire.
Hello everyone. I am new to modding Skyrim and thought i would give ENB a go. After downloading ENB series and the NLA preset, I tired adjusting the necessary items in my Skyrimpref.ini (in my documents). I could not find a couple of the necessary items to update to =1, such as bFloatPointRenderTarget=1; bShadowsOnGrass=1; bDeferredShadows=1. Btw, i did a manual download for both and followed a step-by-step guide. I spent too long looking thru the list and using the search function to find the settings, but no luck. Am I missing something when looking into system preferences? Any help would be greatly appreciated! FYI - I tried launching skyrim and everything is extremely blurry. I can tell the light and the weather has dramatically improved from ENB and the NLA Pre-set, but the game is just unbearably blurry (almost seems like a DOF issue).
how the eff do i download the effing ENB thing. I cant find the download button!!! its driving me up the wall! that sight is horrendous! please can someone assist me. I'm litterally pulling out my hair!
Hope you haven't died in the meantime. To make it easier for others to dig this up in less hours than I spent, this is where you get the latest ENBSeries: http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0479.htm (scroll all the way down to the tiny download button)

go into enbseries.ini and change VolumetricMist to "true" and Mist to "true".
If this doesn't work turn them both to false.
