    I'm so glad to see someone change the ugly shape of the daedric weapons. I wouldn't mind seeing a darker color so it sits out from the normal Nordic weapons or even similar to what the original daedric weapons are. Maybe blood lines around the perimeter of the heads of the weapons like the rune weapons in the Nexus.

    This mod isn't for me, as I have mods which use the Daedric skin and I don't know if it'll fluff it up, but it's adventurous for people who play Nord characters, it fits, you could roleplay it so it's a passed down axe/sword/etc, but makes it higher level, I like the idea a lot, endorse :3

    Oh wow, t his was exactly what I was looking for. Felt like the daedric weapons look so out of place if you aren't using the daedric armor as well. So its nice to have something that still matches the atmosphere. Thank you. Will give endorsement when I can.

    cool story bro. and btw TLR Why post it at all? Why challenge me at all? Take some tips from Jaysus or something. I am still sore where I took that arrow. Damn I hate archers. No really just posting that I am confused why you would waste the time on posting this, 66 D/LS as of writing this. versus 6.332 views...

    @Kurousagishi : I find it hard to take your criticisms seriously for the following reasons:

    A) What does it matter that there are 'a ton of other weapon replacements already'? This one is different that all the others, or I wouldnt have bothered to make it.

    B) Re: Developmental vision of the game: I, personally, have gotten sick of the way the daedric weapons look... so I chose to replace them with weapons that I think still fit the theme of daedric, ie. are dark, sinister, other-worldly looking weapons, but look better than the default daedric weapons.

    C) If you bothered to read you would see that only 3 of the 8 weapons are replaced with draugr counterparts... the other 5 are unique daedric artifacts.

    D) Daedric weapons dont show up in the random loot tables until level 46+ and are very unlikely to be used by NPCs even after this point.

    E) Although true that the base damage of a weapon becomes less significant when improved with high levels of smithing, this does not entirely remove the handicap imposed by using a less-powerful type of weapon. The aim of this mod is to remove that handicap entirely, not mitigate it.

    F) I never claimed to have a talent for modding

    G) If you dont like this mod, that is fine, to each his own I say... I am not forcing you to use it! If you dont think the regular daedric weapons are ugly, or you are happy to use less-powerful weapons that is your business, and you gain nothing by criticising players who believe differently to you.

    quick addition, with how smithing works there is almost no handicapping at all to use other weapons. Because all the low weapons that actually fall into a category get a bonus, as well as require less skill meaning the overflow just keeps pushing your weapons past the minimum for Legendary. Just seems silly, if you have any talent for modding why waste your time on this...

    you know there are a ton of weapon replacements already. Just swapping the Draugr stuff for so much of it seems, a little lazy, and ruins the developmental vision of the game, since there is, using your replacer, no difference in all of the Draugr weapons. Its definitely your prerogative but this mod just seems silly. Oh and you two unique deadric artifacts, for something many different enemies would end up using, ruining the specialness of those.

    That wouldnt work unfortunately, or at least it wouldnt be simple. I cant do a straight port of the oblivion versions because they lack a discreet 1st-person mesh... so the ported weapons would only look different in 3rd person perspective. Its possible for someone to create a 1st person mesh Im sure, but its above and beyond my own skill.
