3.0.3 has been released: The only change is that I made it possible to toggle the Brawl Bug fix and that means that an optional plugin is no longer necessary, if you want use the Brawl Bugs patch by jonwd7. Simply disable the Brawl Bug fix in the razor's settings menu if: - you have the Brawl Bugs patch installed or - you want to add a follower to a slot when the Brawl Bug fix is stopping that from occurring and you can't wait until you've finished the upcoming brawl
I wanted to thank you personally for what u have done. It makes skyrim perfectly much more realistic BUT.... I would like to encourage you to do the same with the hair as u have done it with the facial hair. And let me tell u from what I have seen u totally deserves our endorsement. So keep up the good work and start working on hair. Thank u again.
I loved this feature in The Witcher 3, this works exactly like that, except for the barbershops. Hopefully one day someone will implement that as well into Skyrim. Anyway endorsed.
Just to pay it forward, the "vampires can't shave" bug isn't due to the scripting of this mod. The vampire races themselves are the problem. The "Overlay head part list" flag in their Face Data causes the facial hair from this mod to be placed on top of one another, not replaced. If you uncheck that option, shaving works fine. This caused visual issues for my character (missing eyes, etc.).
The visual issues were fixed on my end by enabling DVA before Five O'clock shadow in my load order. I thought there would be incompatibilities between the two mods, but as it turns out, you can use one to fix the other. Huh.
If you're referring to the "Overlay head part list" flag, you need to open the Creation Kit, load Skyrim's files, then navigate to the Race tab under Character. For every player race (ex: BretonRace) there is also a vampire variant (ex: BretonRaceVampire). You need to edit each of these races that you want to be able to shave. Once you've opened a race form, you need to navigate to the Face Data tab within it and uncheck the "Overlay head part list" flag. After that, your vampire should be able to shave. As I mentioned above, there will be visual issues that enabling a mod like DVA will fix.
Hello everyone, after testing for a week on my SSE port with no adverse side effects, I will be porting this to the SSE pages today. I apologise about the slow progress on this but I wanted to ensure there were no problems when I bring this great mod over.
I have been working on many conversions in addition to my own mods, whilst trying to play Skyrim too.
EDIT: 07/06/2019 - Sorry all, there is a hold up on the creation of the .bsa file. I have created the page on SSE and uploaded a loose files version....which may not be the best way to proceed? As soon as I have the bsa created I'll update.

EDIT 02JUN19: I have messaged the creator of this mod for permission to port this to SSE.
In the meantime I have ported this and am using it in game.
