Since this is 2 years old I am curious to know if anyone is currently using this as RCRN wasn't updated recently (AFAIK) but since my Skyrim modding history started late last year so going through forums, replies, and old news is confusing. Long story short, is anyone currently using this or RCRN and do the LODS work or are even needed using DynDOLOD?
I have DynDOLOD working (rebuilding the tree atlas, run it again and finally fix everything I've added) and I'm still getting the hang of it and the different options but I'm looking for other resources/Mods for enhancement. I will experiment with RCRN in my next play through for something different.
Hopefully someone still uses this and Dyn separately or RCRN and Dyn together.
Absolutely outstanding. You have no idea how long I have been searching fro tree LOD's. There are many on the Nexus, but they always seem to never get all three (Pine, Snow Pine, Aspen) correct. This is most likely staying in my load order for a long time. Thank a bunch!
No you don't need RCRN if you just want the LOD improvement. I'll update the details and instructions today to make things more clear. I don't really know what the fps drop is right now.
This certainly sounds from the description and looks from the images to be the product of a heck of a lot of work.
Although I am concerned about whether permission was sought by all the mod authors to upload you package of enhancements and edits to their work, I want to say I really appreciate spirit of your willingness to share what you have done.
I am very curious to peek at the changes you made to the rcrnShaders plugin - did you do that all in CK or use TES5Edit at all?
Also, I would like to know what your modlist is, since that affects how well you modifications will work. You already mentioned you do not use SFO, but do you use anything besides RCRN that affects lighting, or any other texture mods?
For example, do you use ELFX? I have recently noticed ELFX overwrites changes RCRN makes to torch light radius, color and the length of time they last. Your torch patch may help fix that, which would be great.
Anyhow, again thanks for sharing, and I come back with some feedback after trying it out this weekend (I hope).

*edit - happens with normal RCRN, too - only when waiting
The Warmer and Brighter Torches works well.

It looks amazing!
We're thinking about collaborating.
