I love this mod! It's a wonderful mod. Definitely endorsing. But because every user is in many senses a tester and you sometimes don't know if something is going to be compatible until you download it and then when you have to reinstall all of your mods because you found one that wasn't, it's difficult to remember to untick the zzGdra hoods esp or whatever it's called. It would just be awesome if you could slide a little note in your esp that will show up in the NMM or whatever you use, telling the user to untick the zzGD hoods esp, or whatever it's called.
I'm probably a bit late for an answer, but I'll try it anyways. I can only obtain the Light Armor version from qasmoke and the console. None of the versions are available at the forge/tanning rack. I've tried setting it to clothing in the MCM menu and 'set nh_HoodsWithHairsClothing to 1', but it stays as Light Armor. Any idea what could be the issue here?
Thanks for the mod it's great! And thanks for keeping the clutter down in my already jam-packed crafting menu, I appreciate it
I wondered if it was possible to add just the braid as craftable (that goes with the ranger hood) because I have a lot of mods that use the monk hood mesh and that way, I could use the braid with any of them (if the slot used was the one used for face masks or something). I tried to do it myself by deleting the hood mesh in outfit studio and tried to create a new amour/craftable object from the nif but it all went tits up and crashed my game. I've modded FO4 but not Skyrim and not everything works the same way...
I know it's been a while and totally understand if you don't want to do it.
How do i install this mod with Mod Organizer because it's not appear in Mod Configuration at all even thought i already have it in the plugin in MO Please Help
i have the same issue with the OP. SkyUI is installed and your esp is checked and loaded last. Still, there is no Hoods with Hair found in the mod configuration.
"Problem: There are mods missing from my MCM list. Is there anything I can do about it?
Before starting to reinstall mods, you can try to run a repair script we added in SkyUI 3.2. To do this, open the console and enter "setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" (without the quotes)."
If the hood's in the original mod, it should be in this one. I don't think I've missed any updates of the original, but definitely let me know if I have.
Is there any particular reason why every single one of the hoods from this mod show up as the archmage mesh when I equip them? I tried multiple variants, and the meshes look fine (different from one another) in the menu, but they all appear similar to the archmage hood equipped on my character. I'm not sure what would be causing this. I installed Hoods with Hairs v3 without any other optional files.
Are you equipping the hoods on a male character? The meshes only work on female characters and the archmage cowl is set as the male mesh for every hood.
I am able to craft the armored versions of these hoods but not the clothing versions. They're supposed to be in the tanning rack correct? Any idea what the problem is?
Yes, they should be at the tanning rack. If you're using MCM, check that the clothing option is selected. If you're not, try the console command 'set nh_HoodsWithHairsClothing to 1'.

So there we go. Mystery (probably) solved!
I'm not seeing it.
It looks like thats the only one without the large front part covering up the various armors I use.
