This should still be viable with AE at least right? I also have the Beyond Skyrim - Bruma dlc/mod, but since it's an NPC related mod I don't expect this would break anything. Won't be home to download and test for a while, so if someone can help me before I go through the trouble it would be much appreciated
At first, I did not notice much of a difference. I am not sure why, but many NPCs still managed to Neo their way out of even undetected stealth shots. I am also not sure why that gradually this disappeared. NPCs can still dodge, if they detect you or are actively searching, but this is a normal dodge and not that Nightcrawler crap in the vanilla game. Thanks for putting this together!
I just think it's stupid that a game based on Skill Building and Character Progression makes it completely up to luck when archers shoot at stuff, the npcs just magically Michael Jackson their way out of the arrow.
I always have my mod category list sorted by "downloads", to see which mods have been most downloaded by our community. I'm genuinely shocked that this mod isn't at the top of the list. It's amazing, not to mention necessary.
The first time some NPC enemy just magically, suddenly, inexplicably slid to one side to avoid my arrow, I was so shocked, so enraged, I just sat there for 5 minutes trying to fathom what the hell had just happened. At first, I thought it might have been a fluke, a bug, something, anything like that. But when I realized that this bogus crappola is actually, deliberately built into the game, I wanted to get my hands around Howard's neck and squeeze the stinking life out of him.
Gods above, how dare they inject something so stupid, so ILLOGICAL, so patently ridiculous into this game. What was Howard thinking? They actually created a bug, deliberately. It wasn't enough just to release the game loaded down with bugs, they had to come up with one on their own and maliciously place it in the game. Unbelievable.
The fact is that this mod should never have been necessary in the first place. This ninja-dodge is just one more example of Bugthesda designing some defect into the game just to piss us off even more. I'm still waiting for someone to form a class-action suit to take these monsters to court to get back all the money we threw at Bugthesda for their lousy, shoddy games.
It would be a good idea tomake one for other NPCs using magic dodge too. And an other one for animals which don't see you but seem to spiritually detect when you pick a bow as you had a melee weapon.
I hate those impossible dodges so much. First time I saw it happen, I thought the game glitched, because it looked so unrealistic. This is going to be so much better. Thank you!
