I am really enjoying Dominions More Dark Elves, especially when playing a dark elf character. It is great being able to draw more dark elves under my banners.
I'm uncertain if it is a mercenary issue or not. Using UFO I am able to recruit mutliple followers into my party, two which are dark elf mercenaries. One being Jenessa of course. The other I believe is added from inconsequential NPC's; however, I've found myself unable to hire either dark elf mercenary from Dominions More Dark Elves located in Rorikstead and the Bee and Barb in Riften. Even if I dismiss the generic dark elf mercenary.
Not sure if anyone else has tried hiring either of these mercenaries. I am able to have multiple of the non-mercenary dark elves from this mod as active party members at once.
This is a excellent idea. I love it! It always bugged that there so few NPCs in towns and villages, while there are hundreds of bandits out in the wilds. Anyway, many thanks for sharing these great mods and kudos for all your hard work! I'll go grab them all now!
The main idea of the mod is quite nice , it is a big plus that some wander in the wilderness and follow a path is definitely a big plus for me
However I’d like to make some suggestions which may improve this mod a little bit while also making the NPC-s a bit more immersive:
- The elves of Winterhold (Arelaso, Duldvos, Mordenu and Tadarose) are wearing the same robes (restoration), it would improve immersion in my opinion if you could change their attire differently like, Novice/Apprentice/Adept or College robes.
- The mercenaries (Androth and Barendresa) and or the adventurers (Tiliile and Uthrdstar ) could wear armors from Morrowind, like Bonemold or Chitin armor ( if you have Dragonborn DLC).
- The mebers of the Thife guild ( Bioli and Gurveso) at least one of them could wear thief armor in my opinion.
You could also add some minor details, like:
- The new companions members (Orvha or Sodrer), the mercenaries (Androth and Barendresa) and the adventurers (Tiliile and Uthrdstar ) some of them could wear helmet.
- For the mercenaries you should add a few perks ( for example Light Foot to avoid frustration in trap filled dungeons, and some combat perks for weapon and armor[and maybe a war paint])
- There are many players who use increased difficulty or Warzones , for those you should make the Tiliile and Uthrdstar invincible.
You should consider making a similar pack with a few Khajiit and Argonian it could make the game better in my opinion
The plan is to release more packs, next weekend doing bug fixes for this and the wood elves mod, and creating the high elves version. Both the khajiit and argonian versions are set after this, with orc and thalmor after that. The goal is to leave the mod with only vanilla requirements so the Dragonborn DLC will not be used from versions I create (feel free to release one where they are in use). All NPC are matched to the player level, and should not be killable. I left all of them helmet-less (except for the Dark Brotherhood members) so the player could decide if they wanted to use a helmet or not for the character. I can look into the perks, robes, and Thief guild armors during my bug fix portion of next weekend.
Since I want to release these as modules, there will never be a unified esp. And what do you mean by no unpack version (there is a nexus mod manager version, and a manual download, and if you really want there is the steam workshop version)?
