i love your work soooo much, honestly this is just fantastic! I have a question thougth: would this mod be compatible with mods that alter the effects of the enchantment, or would it simply impose the vanilla enchantment?
Realy nice bows my friend. You realy should make an all in one pack with all of your bows in it. But please with one ESP only. Not like the Compund bow collection i found earlyer on nexus. it has one ESP for every single bow so i dont use it. since i want to have many other mods besides my bows.
I know that it's annoying to ask this kind of question, but would this be compatible with Auriel's Holy Bow by DarkWolfModding? It's a mod that adds a glow effect to Auriel's Bow and I'm wondering if using both would cause an overlap of the textures or if one will always be overwritten by the other
I'm pretty sure one will overwrite the other one, since you are saying it adds a glow effect. A glow effect can not be added without assigning the properties of the glow map in the mesh. Therefore "auriel's holy bow" mod must also replace the weapons.nif file like my mod does which means you will have one .nif overwriting the other.
If you have a simple texture replacer (no meshes) it will work without any problems on this bow. (only the rims, glass parts and reticle would still have the color i gave them).
Hey Outlaw, I sent ya a pm in regard to your bows. I don't know if you check your messages often, but please have a look and let me know what you think.
All of your work has been awesome, I couldn't play skyrim without your bows.
Would you be willing to make a standalone for this mod? I realize that you need to keep the DG dependency, but you could keep it by using the DG enchantment for this version of the bow so that it can't be used without the DLC.
P.S.: What I meant by a standalone is a non-replacer, so you could get the "vanilla" Auriel's Bow in the DG Quest, and this one by forging it yourself, perhaps after you've completed the requirements.
Yes this is possible. I would have to use an existing smithing perk for crafting it. (Elven for example.) I need some holydays now, but maybe i do it when i have time.
Haha awesome, one of these days you are going to get all of the bows and will need to make one giant mod with them all inside! Thanks for your continued work.
