After installing mod, strings and activating all plugins, book text have disappeared. I have mod and strings installed, both pretty much at the end of load order. Deactivating item (keeping just weapons and armor) fixes it, but then mod functionality is limited.
YES something that makes things a realistic weight fun fact, not only is a great sword very sharp (one misconception is that they are a bashing weapon like a hammer, -.-) but they also weigh 4-5 pounds max, this is because a great sword is not meant to bash, its meant to cut, but meant to use the kinetic energy a two handed swing can provide, something that a heavy weight would counteract and provide diminishing returns.
It works now! I should not have merged them into the Bashed Patch in Wyre Bash, instead load the .esp files after the Bashed Patch in active mode. Endorsed! Small change, but makes huge differences. Using it alongside the More Believable Carry Weight.
Unfortunately, it doesn't. Not for me anyways. I even tried dropping and picking them up again, still no change. Even though the other weapons and items weight already changed. Has anyone else tried to check this?
Can anyone tell me why I get numerous subrecord errors in Tesvedit when I load this mod? Are they anything that I should be worried about? I never noticed these before I updated the version to v3.
Trying to merge all the esp of this mods into one but it just never gonna work, ignoring the error and force the merging will only cause CTD when opening inventory.
Hey after a while of messing with the PatchusMaximus, this mod is incompatible with the patcher :0 It causes the Java Null Exception error. You may want to post on your page that they are incompatible. Its only the patcher too, not the mod itself. I'm gonna try disabling these 2 Esp's, rerun the patcher, reactivate them, and see if they work in game! Ill post the result here :3
My inventory is empty but my carrying capacity said i'm carrying 241/300. How do you fix this? I disabled this mod, reloaded skyrim, and confirmed it's this mod causing the problem. Without the mod installed, my carrying capacity says 93/300.
I really like this mod but I don't like how I have a lot of empty weight taking up my capacity when all my inventory has are weightless keys.
I went up to a drawer in Breezehome and used the the console command "player.removeallitems 000cb437". This effectively removed all items except quest items from my inventory and placed them within this container. With this, I tested to see which items were causing the issue. After using the command, my carrying capacity said it was 0/300. So it wasn't quest items causing the problem since they're weightless.
I then proceeded to grab and replace each item in my inventory to see how individual items affect the carrying capacity. It was all normal. What was interesting was when I grabbed my gold. I have 200,000 gold to my name and when I picked up my entire stack, my carrying capacity skyrocketed from 0/300 to 941/300! Ha! I feel silly.
So even though gold says it's weight is 0, it still has a weight value attached to it.
Will be picking up that weightless gold add-on mod you've included! I feel relieved that I can use this mod again without suspicion.
The only complaint I have about this mod is that it messed with the gold somehow and now it it's a bit wonky IE it no longer collects the whole pile at once and either takes one piece at a time (if under my SkyUI stack limit) or asks how much of the pile I want to take (usually all of it). I'm not much of a modder myself, but I'll try to puzzle out how to fix it myself (unless someone already knows and want to save me some frustration- which would be much appreciated).
Edit: Forgot to say, other than that one issue, I absolutely love this mod. It makes so much more sense than ridiculously heavy gear like sixteen pound swords and worse. I get that the actual weight isn't pounds (or kilos) but rather an in-game unit made for gameplay, but who honestly thinks in those terms when they see carry weight. This combined with a 1st person camera mod that allows me to adjust my character's height without haves eyes at nipple level makes me a very happy Gamer. Long live Bjorn Bjornson X… until he dies because I did something stupid.
Anyway, I got off track, thanks cyllinder24 for this great realism mod. It makes things more believable.
Edit 2: ah, weightless gold fixes that. Mod is perfect then. Thank you.

aptly named "All Items Weight Adjustments - Blank Books Fix"
